\tFacilities manager for the Umhlanga Durban sites responsible for the day to day running of the sites located in this area supporting the Failites officers on site, Accountable for physical security, Site compliance, Maintenance systems and Site standards<\/p>\n
What you’ll be doing<\/p>\n
\tManage and support the team of Facilities Officers and co-ordinate resources across the Umhlanga sites
\n\tSupport and motivate the wider team provide leadership.
\n\tEnsure all essential services are continually supported by planned and reactive maintenance, including:-
\n\tSecurity systems: access control, CCTV, intruder and fire alarms, smoke detection and fire suppression systems
\n\tSecurity, cleaning, catering and vending services
\n\tHeating\/cooling, lighting and power services
\n\tBusiness equipment: printers\/copiers, headsets, projectors
\n\tFabric: interior property maintenance, layout alteration of property B
\n\tBuilding repairs and grounds and property maintenance
\n\tProactively ensure that all Helpdesk tickets are managed in line with SLAs.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure conformance with all compliance aspects of health, safety environment and security for planned and reactive maintenance.
\n\tLiaise with management and end-user departments to plan alterations to property, layout, or other alterations to campaign requirements.
\n\tDevelop relationships with all stakeholders.
\n\tManage and monitor contractors to ensure service standards are fulfilled.
\n\tControl costs and maintain budget management procedures
\n\tAudit the PPM schedules and provide adequate feedback
\n\tSupport the wider team & business with ISO or compliance audits.\u00a0
\n\tPrioritise the safety of employees, visitors and contractors during planned or reactive works.
\n\tSupport the delivery Capex and Opex budgets and associated projects.\u00a0<\/p>\n
What you’ll need<\/p>\n
Skills \/ Knowledge & Experience<\/p>\n
Essential<\/p>\n
\tFull driving licence with own vehicle
\n\tBuilding or plant maintenance
\n\tEnergy management experience
\n\tExcellent communication and listening skills
\n\tExcellent customer service skills and ability to build rapport.
\n\tPC literate, with a working knowledge of industry standard packages (e.g. Microsoft Word & Excel.)
\n\tAbility to multi-task, and excellent organisational skills \u00a0
\n\tResults focused, committed to providing outstanding customer service.
\n\tStrong team player
\n\tExcellent attention to detail
\n\tAbility to remain calm and retain control when faced with difficulty.
\n\tBehave responsibly and efficiently in use of resources and services, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, care for the Environment, and expenditure within budgetary controls.<\/p>\n
Desirable<\/p>\n
\t3 years experience in a Facilities Management role
\n\tFacilities management experience<\/p>\n
