ROLE OVERVIEW:<\/p>\n
\tThe Municipal Administrator will be responsible to assist with council billing, reporting, and risk management. Utilities include but are not limited to Water, Electricity, Sewer, Effluent, refuse. Alternative Energy Solutions, Back-up Electricity, Gas, and\/or other utilities that may be used.<\/p>\n
RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
Utility management<\/p>\n
\tSourcing Accounts from the respective supply authority
\n\tDealing with Queries (tenant and Council related)
\n\tLogging calls for outages and services
\n\tOpening of new accounts with Council
\n\tReconciliations
\n\tPreparing accounts for timely payment
\n\tData Capturing
\n\tPreparing property packs for new acquisitions
\n\tProcessing transactions and maintaining accurate financial records
\n\tRecord Keeping
\n\tAssist with financial analysis and reporting as needed
\n\tSupplier Reconciliations<\/p>\n
Verification and Optimization<\/p>\n
\tTariff checking and verification
\n\tMeter reading, checking and verification<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tProperty industry and municipal accounts experience essential
\n\tCreditors\/Account reconciliations and payments experience essential
\n\tIntermediate Excel
\n\tValid Drivers Licence<\/p>\n
