Summary of Job<\/p>\n
\tA Production Supervisor plays a key role in managing and overseeing the production processes. They are responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe production of products, compliance with regulations, and the supervision of production staff.
\n\tOversee and coordinate production activities.
\n\tEnsure production meets quality, quantity, and safety standards.
\n\tSupervise production workers, providing guidance and support to maintain a productive and motivated team.
\n\tSchedule work, assign tasks, and monitor employee performance.
\n\tMaintain quality controls, measures to ensure the consistency and safety or poultry products.
\n\tConduct regular inspections and checks to prevent defects or contamination.
\n\tEnforce health and safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
\n\tAddress and report safety concerns and incidents promptly.
\n\tMonitor product inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate for production demands.
\n\tCoordinate stock replenishment as needed.
\n\tEnsure production equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
\n\tSchedule equipment maintenance and repairs as required.
\n\tMonitor production targets and performance metrics to achieve production efficiency and meet goals<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tMatric
\n\tDiploma or equivalent advantageous.
\n\tProven work experience within the industry.
\n\tStrong leadership and supervisory skills.<\/p>\n
Behavioural Skills<\/p>\n
\tLeadership Provide clear and effective leadership to production staff, inspiring and motivating them to meet production targets and uphold quality standards.
\n\tEffective communication Communicate clearly and openly with both production staff and upper management, ensuring that information flows smoothly and that any issues are addressed promptly.
\n\tProblem-Solving identify and address production-related challenges, such as equipment malfunctions, staff issues, or process improvements, to maintain efficient operations.
\n\tTeam Management Supervise, support, and guide production staff to maintain a productive and motivated team, facilitating their professional growth and development.
\n\tCustomer Focus Understand and meet customer expectations for product quality, consistency, and delivery timelines.
\n\tConflict Resolution Address and resolve conflicts or issues within the production team, promoting a harmonious work environment.<\/p>\n
