About the Role<\/p>\n
\tWe are looking for an exceptional\u00a0Marketing Management Graduate\u00a0to join our dynamic team.
\n\tThis is a\u00a0once-in-a-lifetime opportunity\u00a0for a top-performing graduate to work closely with two of South Africa\u2019s most loved brands,\u00a0Apple\u00a0and\u00a0iStore,\u00a0while being personally mentored by the\u00a0Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)\u00a0of iStore South Africa.
\n\tOver the course of 12 months, you will gain intimate exposure to business and marketing strategy, while learning how to deliver high-impact projects and initiatives across the organisation.
\n\tThis role is designed for someone who is passionate about\u00a0marketing, brand management, and strategic communication\u00a0and who wants to accelerate their learning in a fast-paced, world-class business environment.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
In this immersive role, you will:<\/p>\n
\tWork closely with the Apple & iStore brands, gaining first-hand experience in premium brand management.
\n\tShadow and support the CCO of iStore South Africa for 12 months, assisting across a wide range of strategic and operational initiatives.
\n\tGain deep insights into business strategy, marketing strategy, and project execution.
\n\tDevelop practical skills in:
\n\tPresentation and storytelling for impact
\n\tData visualisation and insights communication
\n\tMarketing and campaign messaging
\n\tCampaign and media strategy
\n\tCollaborate on a project basis with the extended marketing team, gaining 360\u00b0 exposure to:
\n\tTrade Marketing
\n\tDigital Marketing
\n\tSocial Media Marketing
\n\tAbove-the-Line Marketing
\n\tAct as an extended arm of the CCO, supporting key initiatives and ensuring smooth execution.<\/p>\n
This is a hands-on, high-exposure role that will accelerate your career not only within Core Group, but in any future marketing leadership path.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
We\u2019re looking for a standout individual who meets the following criteria:<\/p>\n
\tBCom or equivalent degree in Marketing Management, completed within the last\u00a03 years.
\n\tGraduated from\u00a0a top South African university\u00a0(e.g. UCT, Wits, Stellenbosch, UP, Rhodes, VEGA).
\n\tAcademic excellence,\u00a0 top of your class, with a proven record of achievement.
\n\tGolden Key Society\u00a0membership or other academic recognition.
\n\tDemonstrated leadership or community involvement (e.g. class representative, student council, marketing competitions, societies).
\n\tExceptional written and verbal communication skills.
\n\tStrong interest in marketing strategy, brand development, and digital communication.
\n\tAmbitious, curious, and eager to grow into a future Marketing Manager.<\/p>\n
