Job Description<\/p>\n
\tAs Business Development Analyst you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for searching, identifying, structuring, developing, and monitoring partnerships, alliances with players of the payment ecosystem of the South Africa region.<\/p>\n
The role also includes:<\/p>\n
\tProvide support to the South Africa Head of Cluster to develop and maintain the relationship between Visa and its partners\/members
\n\tContribute to the development, production and implementation of initiatives outlined in Countries plans
\n\tBuild and update on a monthly basis a complete Business Intelligence tool gathering all information with regards to Macro Economics data, Issuing & Acquiring activities of Visa clients \/ Market but also competition
\n\tWork on member queries and issues, and provide timely and efficient solution
\n\tEnsure Members compliance to service levels, integrity of service records and efficient resolution of complaints
\n\tIdentify key opportunities within market, size\/provide analysis, and business case to address
\n\tCentral communication point for all clients in Market
\n\tExtract, Provide and Supervise periodical financial & business reports (Weekly\/Monthly or quarterly) as agreed with the Head of Cluster.
\n\tMarkets sales visits if needed (Across the cluster)
\n\tOn Demand update and MVP plans for clients
\n\tLiaise with relevant Visa Departments to share member priorities & ensure business outcomes are met
\n\tCo-ordinate with other Visa departments to successfully implement the country plans.
\n\tWork closely with other Visa functional teams and have a good understanding of Visa solutions
\n\tComplete ad hoc project\/research and presentation work and other relevant initiatives as requested by the management
\n\tContribute to development, production and implementation of initiatives outlined in Country plans
\n\tProvide if needed support to the different business development managers and above in processing the administrative part of different business-related topics (Licensing, Account receivable, etc\u2026)
\n\tFollow up on Execution plans to ensure an efficient Time To Market
\n\tManage internal Sales MIS reporting processes and requirements such as MS Dynamics, Bi-weekly Pipeline reports, ad-hoc client performance reports used by Management to run the sales team effectively
\n\tThis is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tExperience in the Banking \/ Financial Services sector, card payment experience preferable
\n\tKnowledge of Mobile Financial Services
\n\tSuperior powerpoint and skills
\n\tSkills in marketing is a plus
\n\tKnowledge of the regional regulations is a plus
\n\tNegotiation skills leading to timely and acceptable resolutions
\n\tClient relationship and management skills
\n\tLeadership skills
\n\tVery comfortable with numbers and a strong ability to do analysis
\n\tSolid interpersonal skills and working with cross functional teams
\n\tExceptional verbal and written communication skills – Development and preparation of executive level briefs
\n\tSelf-directed and motivated
\n\tAble to work with little management oversight
\n\tWell-structured and organized person
\n\tExecution & result driven person
\n\tStrategic management and creative thinking
\n\tAnalytical in thought processes
\n\tRequired sales and industry experience
\n\tKnowledge and understanding of banking operations and\/ or payment schemes
\n\tBeing very comfortable with numbers, financial analysis, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools will be required<\/p>\n
Basic Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tBachelors in Business\/ Finance \/ IT or related field
\n\tBilingual: English & French<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualifications<\/p>\n
\t3-5 years of experience
\n\tBusiness experience including sales, Finance and\/or relationship management
\n\tWillingness to learn and execute effectives sales strategies for new payment solutions and services
\n\tCard Issuing\/Acquiring experience is beneficial. Exposure to servicing Financial Institution\/MNOs in these areas is a plus
