Your role will include:<\/p>\n
Financial effectiveness<\/p>\n
\tDevelop, structure and generate project capital and operating cost estimates
\n\tControl expenditure according to budget to ensure efficient cash flow management<\/p>\n
Project Integration and Management<\/p>\n
\tIdentify and define project needs, perform \/ manage studies and analysis to recommend appropriate strategies to stakeholders<\/p>\n
Project Scope Management<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and implement relevant project control strategies to ensure the effective scope, cost, change, and schedule management<\/p>\n
Quality Management<\/p>\n
\tFormulate and manage a quality management program to establish the basis of quality outcomes and the effective management of same during the project life cycle<\/p>\n
Communication effectiveness<\/p>\n
\tManage, generate and present reports, plans, and presentations\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Risk Management<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and implement risk mitigation strategies in response to project requirements<\/p>\n
Procurement and Contract Management<\/p>\n
\tEnsure development of procurement management (Operating) plans to deliver effective management of supply chain related activities according to the project schedule and Group policies<\/p>\n
People Management<\/p>\n
\tDirect subordinates to achieve individual and team objectives<\/p>\n
Safety, Health, Security and Environmental Effectiveness<\/p>\n
\tContributes to the achievement of team goals<\/p>\n
Client relationships<\/p>\n
\tBuilds relationships across the Group by sharing business information and knowledge<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:\u00a0(Education & Experience)<\/p>\n
\tBSc Degree\u00a0in Engineering, or postgraduate qualification in project management
\n\tMine Overseer\u2019s Certificate of Competence for Scheduled Mines
\n\tMine Managers Certificate of Competence<\/p>\n
Role-specific knowledge:<\/p>\n
\t10 years post qualification experience with at least 5 years in project management of studies and execution of large multi-disciplinary projects.\u00a0
\n\tProven track record of big mining project management experience.
\n\tExperience in mining operations underground and with both mobile and fixed plant.
\n\tExperience in the design and layout development of underground infrastructure, mine shaft development including mine services, winder systems, ventilation systems and treatment plants
\n\tContract and contractor management experience\u00a0
\n\tIn depth understanding of developing CAPEX and OPEX estimations\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tPreparedness to relocate to other centre\u2019s as and when necessary
\n\tA good understanding of Systems Acquisition, IDM and PMBOK processes<\/p>\n
