The Role:<\/p>\n
\tTo create and maintain a vital link between the customer and Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions at Strategic decision-making level. Responsible to build and maintain good customer relationships. Responsible for the profit and loss.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Main Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tLead workshop business growth
\n\tDevelop the workshop team in the areas of control to meet and exceed customer satisfaction
\n\tImplement quality control process and standards
\n\tDevelop and\/or implement a workshop strategy
\n\tDevelop and manage budgets, striving for a cost-effective operations without compromising safety or quality
\n\tIdentifying, analyzing, and driving resolution of customer issues (warranty and non-warranty) with account management
\n\tManage rebuilds and repairs operations to meet the contract target costs
\n\tExecuting workshop activity to cost, utilization, quality and cycle time targets
\n\tCollaborate internally with key stakeholders
\n\tManage a team of workshop managers
\n\tCollaborate with customers to understand their needs and expectations
\n\tProvide timely updates on rebuild\/repairs progress and communicate any deviations from scope<\/p>\n
Effective Operations Management<\/p>\n
\tOversee day-to-day workshop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocation
\n\tSchedule and prioritize repair and rebuild projects to meet targets
\n\tMaintain a well-organized, clean and safe working environment
\n\tImplement and enforce EHS best practices
\n\tEnsure equipment performance meets or exceeds contractual obligations
\n\tSet up and manage workshop operations to meet KPIs
\n\tDevelop a workshop operations strategy in conjunction with key stakeholders
\n\tResponsible for evaluating competitor activities and conducting relevant market research that enables the workshop to maintain market competitiveness.

Qualification \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma or Degree in Mining\/ Electrical\/Mechanical Engineering or Business qualification
\n\tMasters in Business Administration (MBA) (advantageous)
\n\tProven experience in workshop management within the mining industry
\n\tStrong leadership skills
\n\tAbility to analyse data, make data driven decisions and manage budgets effectively
\n\tComputer literacy (including relevant programs)
\n\tKnowledge of Sandvik Databases (desirable)
\n\tEquipment manufacturing experience (desirable)<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\tExperience in senior Management position (+5 years)
\n\tExperience in operational management (+5 years)
\n\tExperience in workshop management (+7 years)
\n\tEnglish proficiency
\n\tExperience in mining applications underground mining (Specifically board and pillar applications)<\/p>\n
Other Requirements<\/p>\n
\tPhysical & Medical ability to function in an underground coal environment
