Our client is a multi-disciplinary engineering company that provides engineering solutions\/infrastructure to water, sanitation, energy & rail Infrastructure to state owned entities \u2013 water boards and Industrial companies with optimization of turnkey projects. The ideal candidate to fit the Project Manager role should be self-motivated, and solution driven with strong understanding and experience to mechanical water infrastructure \u2013 should have strong understanding and experience with mechanical systems such as pumps, valves, piping and mechanical equipment sizing as well as understanding with electrical and civil components.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tManage multiple projects and tasks, set priorities, and execute projects: comprehensive planning and design projects.
\n\tProject management of water and sanitation infrastructure or related industrial projects.
\n\tDevelopment of maintenance strategy and plans.
\n\tCoordinate sub-contractors and suppliers providing design and site services.
\n\tSupervision of sub-consultants, contractors on site, and suppliers.
\n\tContracts management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
\n\tOversee designs based on client specifications and design requirements.
\n\tPrepare and make presentations to clients for professional meetings.
\n\tSuccessfully manage and deliver projects on time and within budget.
\n\tProject scheduling, preparation of profitability analysis, and cashflow management.
\n\tImprove system and efficiency in terms of performance and cost.
\n\tPrepare proposals or project budgets based on client specifications.
\n\tEnsuring compliance with all supply chain management and project management policies and procedures within the client departments.
\n\tTechnical report writing<\/p>\n
Skills, Attributes & Experience:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 5 years of project management experience in water and sanitation infrastructure or related industrial sectors.
\n\tWork exposure \u2013 water and wastewater treatment plant design, plant operations & maintenance, preparing technical specifications, project scoping and project management.
\n\tProject management, consulting, or maintenance experience in the water sector.
\n\tDemonstrated client relations and strong people management skills.
\n\tMust have project management skills (references for projects completed will be required).
\n\tKnowledge and experience in the management of contracts such as FIDIC, GCC, NEC3 etc.
\n\tProficient in MS Office, MS Projects and other project management software.
\n\tProven verbal and written communication skills.
\n\tExcellent problem-solving capability, project execution and construction monitoring
\n\tStrong technical report writing skills are essential.<\/p>\n
Qualification:<\/p>\n
\tB Tech or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
\n\tWater and sanitation infrastructure experience shall be an added advantage.
\n\tProject Management Professional (PMP) or a qualification in Project Management is a requirement<\/p>\n
