\nMinimum Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tA Master’s degree in Communication Science\/ Linguistics or Applied Communication or Education specialising in English Language or Literature. However, preference will be given to a candidate with a PhD. \u00a0
\n\tAt least 3 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level or 3 years\u2019 experience in the relevant professional field.<\/p>\n
Additional Recommendations<\/p>\n
\tExperience in the use of innovative teaching and learning technologies, including online teaching
\n\tEvidence of an emerging research track record.<\/p>\n
Summary of duties:<\/p>\n
The successful candidate will be expected to:<\/p>\n
\tTeach and examine in the Programme English and Communication and some General Education modules as required.
\n\tDevelop materials, including for online learning.
\n\tContribute towards the Programme\u2019s research plan.
\n\tContribute towards the Programme\u2019s curriculum development project.
\n\tParticipate in agreed departmental\/faculty projects or committees.
\n\tUndertake duties as assigned by the Programme Co-ordinator\/HoD.<\/p>\n
