Ability to meet tight deadlines whilst delivering excellent results; Ability\u00a0to communicate at all levels; People orientated; Able to establish and sustain personal, organisational and strategic\u00a0networks.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>DUTIES:<\/p>\n<p>\tOversee the development and implementation of national strategies, norms and standards for the provision\u00a0capacity building programmes-: Oversee the development and approval of HCI, Engineering and Professional Services\u00a0programme guidelines, norms &amp; standards and strategies; Oversee the development and implementation of support\u00a0tools<br \/>\n\tProvide advice and guidance in various fora in relation to HCI, Engineering and Professional Services\u00a0programmes; Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of related policies, procedures and\u00a0guidelines<br \/>\n\tMonitor, evaluate and report on the implementation on capacity building programmes. Provide strategic\u00a0leadership in the provision of capacity building programmes for professional and engineering services .<br \/>\n\tEnsure the\u00a0maintenance of strategic and operational agreements between Human Resources and Construction Unit. Ensure\u00a0alignment of programmes to Workplace Skills Plan, Succession planning, and Human Capital needs of the Department.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tProvide a consulting role with regards to HCI, Engineering and Professional Services capacity building programmes.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEnsure the representation of DPW at various stakeholder workshops and meetings; Provide guidance and support to\u00a0the organisational image, HCI, Engineering and Professional Services trends and direction<br \/>\n\tRender support to all\u00a0Government spheres on institutionalisation of capacity building programmes to support infrastructure delivery<br \/>\n\tEstablish\u00a0institutional capacity to manage public infrastructure programmes<br \/>\n\tEnsure the establishment and maintenance of\u00a0 partnerships to strengthen and facilitate the provision of professional skills; Oversee the implementation the\u00a0programmes for skills development; Oversee monitoring, evaluation and reporting on the implementation capacity\u00a0building programmes.<br \/>\n\tManage the Branch. Establish and maintain appropriate internal controls and reporting systems\u00a0in order to meet performance expectations.<br \/>\n\tMaintenance of discipline. Management of performance and development.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEstablish implement and maintain efficient and effective communication arrangements.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and manage the\u00a0operational plan of the Branch and report on progress as required.<br \/>\n\tCompile and submit all required administrative\u00a0reports.
