\tTracker is seeking an individual to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a secure, scalable, and high-performing network infrastructure that supports the organization’s current and future business objectives. This includes providing technical leadership, fostering operational excellence, aligning network strategy with business goals, and ensuring team development, system reliability, and compliance with security and governance standards.<\/p>\n
Job description
\nRoles and Respinsibilities:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDesign, implement, and maintain secure and resilient network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi
\n\tEnsure high availability and performance of all critical network services.
\n\tProvide day-to-day leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to network engineers.
\n\tPrepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
\n\tPlan and allocate tasks effectively to meet project and operational objectives.
\n\tOversee resolution of network incidents, outages, and performance issues.
\n\tEnsure adherence to SLAs and effective communication during incidents.
\n\tImplement and maintain network security controls, including firewall rules, segmentation, and access control.
\n\tCollaborate with cybersecurity teams to address vulnerabilities, ensure patching, and support audits.
\n\tMonitor the security of the organization\u2019s network from threats originating from inside and outside the organization.
\n\tTrack and report on network performance metrics, uptime, and incident trends.
\n\tIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost optimization.
\n\tProvide regular updates to IT leadership on network health, risks, and project progress.
\n\tCollaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget. Maintain accurate documentation of network topology, configuration, and assets.
\n\tEvaluate and approve network design changes and upgrades.
\n\tEnsure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS).
\n\tTrack and report on network performance metrics, uptime, and incident trends.<\/p>\n
Minimum requirements
\n\u00a0Education:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tRelevant IT Networking and Security Certifications, plus appropriate Diploma\u00a0<\/p>\n
Training:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tStrong knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar enterprise networking platforms.
\n\tExperience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching, VLANs, and QoS.
\n\tProficiency in firewall configuration and network security best practices.
\n\tFamiliarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
\n\tUnderstanding of SD-WAN, VPN technologies, and wireless networks.<\/p>\n
Minimum Experience:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\t5\u20138 years of hands-on networking experience, including 1\u20132 years in a team lead or senior role.
\n\tRequired: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent
\n\tPreferred: CCNP, Fortinet NSE certifications, AWS\/Azure Networking certifications, ITIL Foundation<\/p>\n
