vision:<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport the development and execution of the product strategy for clinical pathology.<br \/>\n\tDefine and maintain a product roadmap in alignment with market needs and corporate objectives.<br \/>\n\tConduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.<\/p>\n<p>Compliance &amp; regulatory requirements:<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure that the product meets relevant regulatory standards.<br \/>\n\tWork closely with regulatory affairs teams to navigate product certifications, quality control processes, and compliance with medical device regulations.<br \/>\n\tMaintain awareness of healthcare standards and guidelines to ensure the product adheres to safety, efficacy, and quality requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Customer &amp; market focus:<\/p>\n<p>\tAssist Sales Consultants to network &amp; develop relationships with new customers and to manage existing customers.<br \/>\n\tBuild and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, including pathologists and clinical leaders, to understand their needs and gather feedback on product performance.<br \/>\n\tAttend all applicable National &amp; International Congresses.<\/p>\n<p>Cross-functional collaboration:<\/p>\n<p>\tPartner with sales, marketing, and service teams to ensure that product messaging, training, and support are aligned with customer expectations and product capabilities.<br \/>\n\tSupport Admin staff to ensure stock rotation.<br \/>\n\tAssisting the Tenders &amp; Quotes department with all queries on specifications.<\/p>\n<p>Product lifecycle management:<\/p>\n<p>\tOversee the product lifecycle from start to finish and post-launch updates, ensuring the product stays competitive and addresses emerging technological and customer needs.<br \/>\n\tControl stock levels.<\/p>\n<p>Product performance monitoring:<\/p>\n<p>\tUse performance feedback and analytics to drive product iterations and updates, ensuring continued product relevance and improvement.<br \/>\n\tAddress any post-launch issues related to product quality or usability, coordinating with customer support teams for resolution.<\/p>\n<p>Strategic project implementation:<\/p>\n<p>\tServe as the relational bridge between customer and the division\u2019s internal departments.<br \/>\n\tSupport the competitive win strategy through successful execution of large-scale projects.<\/p>\n<p>Financial &amp; business outcomes:<\/p>\n<p>\tOversee the product\u2019s financial performance, ensuring it meets profitability targets while maintaining competitive pricing within the healthcare market.<br \/>\n\tAssisting Sales team in achieving budgets by driving sales.<\/p>\n<p>Launch strategy:<\/p>\n<p>\tCollaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop product launch strategies, including go-to-market campaigns, product training, and customer support.<br \/>\n\tSupport sales efforts with product knowledge and materials, ensuring sales teams are equipped to sell the product effectively.<\/p>\n<p>Risk management &amp; issue resolution:<\/p>\n<p>\tProactively address challenges related to customer adoption, ensuring smooth transitions during product implementation and training.<br \/>\n\tEnsure product upgrades and improvements are well-managed and communicated to existing customers<\/p>\n<p>Training &amp; support:<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure that the Sales Consultants receive adequate training and support for the correct use of the products as well as in the latest products and product differentiators.<br \/>\n\tManagement of team: Application Specialists<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>\tA Grade 12 certificate as a minimum requirement.<br \/>\n\tTertiary qualification in related field advantageous.<\/p>\n<p>Experience required<\/p>\n<p>\tFluent in English, verbal and written;<br \/>\n\t3-5 years experience in a clinical laboratory environment preferred;<br \/>\n\tProven track record in project implementation and large project rollouts within the IVD market;<br \/>\n\tPrevious management experience advantageous;<br \/>\n\tSound Regulatory knowledge;<br \/>\n\tClinical &amp; product knowledge beneficial.<\/p>\n<p>Capabilities<\/p>\n<p>\tStrong understanding of IVD technologies;<br \/>\n\tStrategic planning &amp; decision making;<br \/>\n\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills;<br \/>\n\tProject implementation;<br \/>\n\tResults orientated;<br \/>\n\tAbility to work under pressure;<br \/>\n\tDeadline driven;<br \/>\n\tProficient in MS Office;<br \/>\n\tOwn reliable vehicle required as well as a valid driver\u2019s license;<br \/>\n\tMust be available to travel both nationally &amp;
