\tNACOSA (Networking HIV, AIDS Community of Southern Africa) is a leading non-profit organisation working in communities across South Africa. It focuses on building strong, resilient organisations and communities to respond effectively to HIV, AIDS, TB, gender-based violence (GBV), Human Rights, and broader public health and social challenges.<\/p>\n
The duties and responsibilities of the Fleet and Assets Administrator will include, but not limited to:<\/p>\n
\tProvide operational support to NACOSA and implementing partners for the day-to-day use of fleet vehicles, equipment, and facilities.
\n\tCoordinate the setup, maintenance, and user training of specialised vehicle systems (e.g., waste management, clinical compartments).
\n\tEnsure compliance with fleet regulations, safety standards, and organisational policies.
\n\tMonitor vehicle usage, coordinate maintenance, and manage tracking systems to detect misuse or unsafe driving.
\n\tMaintain accurate asset records, including laptops, furniture, and medical equipment, across all offices.
\n\tConduct regular asset audits, coordinate transfers\/disposals, and support procurement planning.
\n\tSupport fleet and asset budgeting, and assist with cost tracking, claims, and financial reporting.
\n\tUpdate trackers and prepare regular reports on vehicle servicing, licensing, driver behaviour, and asset utilisation.
\n\tCollaborate with Finance, IT, and Procurement teams to streamline processes and ensure accurate documentation.
\n\tPerform ad hoc administrative tasks and stand in for colleagues or managers when needed.<\/p>\n
Job Requirements
\nRequired qualifications, skills and experience<\/p>\n
\tPost-Matric qualification in Fleet Management, Logistics, or related field.
\n\tBachelor\u2019s degree advantageous.
\n\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience in fleet and asset administration.
\n\tKnowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair scheduling, tracking systems, and health & safety regulations.
\n\tExperience in NGOs, healthcare, or pharmaceutical sectors is beneficial.
\n\tProficient in MS Office; ERP\/finance systems (e.g., Netsuite) experience an advantage.
\n\tFluent in English and at least one other South African language (African language preferred).
\n\tValid Code C1 driver\u2019s license with no endorsements.<\/p>\n
