Job Description<\/p>\n
\tWe are looking for someone who will be able to project manage, administrate and compile multiple, multi-disciplinary environmental projects and prepare proposals.<\/p>\n
Job Requirements<\/p>\n
\tEffectively project manage the environmental and social legislative processes applicable to the relevant country.
\n\tMaintain an awareness of country applicable legislation and the potential impact on the various projects.
\n\tParticipate in marketing the company and bringing in new business\/projects.
\n\tEffectively manage tasks relating to project team management which includes:
\n\tProject resource allocation and workload forecasting.
\n\tProject budget and invoice forecasting
\n\tEffectively project manage the following:
\n\tEnvironmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs) according to the relevant legislation and international standards, such as the IFC Performance Standards.
\n\tEnvironmental Permitting.
\n\tMining Right Applications.
\n\tWorking in close collaboration with specialists from other disciplines.
\n\tConsultation with stakeholders,
\n\tLiaising with clients and authorities; and
\n\tCompile and write reports and other written deliverables for submission to the client and necessary authorities.<\/p>\n
Other Requirements<\/p>\n
\tProfessional Registration would be beneficial. (e.g. EAPASA).
\n\tUnderstanding of applicable environmental and social legislation and international standards.
\n\tUnderstanding and practical experience with environmental authorisation processes.
\n\tProven experience in large Project Managing environmental and social processes.
\n\tStrong interpersonal skills (build rapport etc.).
\n\tExcellent communication skills (Both verbal and written).
\n\tStrong customer orientation.
\n\tExcellent presentation skills.
\n\tSuperior organisation skills.
\n\tValid driver’s license
\n\tWilling to travel locally and internationally, including the rest of Africa<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tPost graduate degree in Environmental Management or similar.
\n\tProject Management certificate would be beneficial<\/p>\n
Work Experience<\/p>\n
\t4 – 5 years in a similar role specifically within the resources\/infrastructure<\/p>\n
