Job Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tThe purpose of the position is to manage and monitor information security (hardware, network, telecoms and software) and control access authorization to mitigate risk to the organization.<\/p>\n
Job Outputs:<\/p>\n
\tProvide input to the IT security strategy and IT security enhancements.
\n\tAssist with development of the IT security policy, procedures and standards.
\n\tImplement, maintain and ensure adherence to information security framework and information security plan.
\n\tMaintain appropriate security measures and mechanisms to guard against unauthorized access and protect against reasonably anticipated threats and hazards.
\n\tPerform internal and external penetration testing.
\n\tConduct Network Security and Auditing on infrastructure.
\n\tEnsure that vulnerabilities are resolved in a timely manner.
\n\tConduct trend analysis and testing.
\n\tEnsure implementation of access management processes.
\n\tAuthorise and manage access to IT facilities and infrastructure.
\n\tInvestigate unauthorised access, compliance and performance of administrative duties relating to security management.
\n\tBack-ups and Disaster recovery plans developed and implemented.
\n\tFacilitating business awareness regarding IT security and current trends.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tRelevant technology certification; Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or equivalent \/ Security analyst, penetration testing certification
\n\tCertified ISO\/IEC 27002<\/p>\n
The following certifications are an advantage:<\/p>\n
\tCertified ISO\/IEC 27001 Foundation
\n\tITIL Certification
\n\tCCNA Security
\n\tCCNP Security
\n\tValid Code 08 Driving licence<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\t3 years\u2019 experience working with Active Directory
\n\t2-3 years\u2019 experience in:
\n\tPenetration Testing
\n\tVulnerability Assessments
\n\tNetwork Security and Auditing
\n\tCisco Routers and Switches
\n\tCisco Firewalls
\n\tVPN wireless
\n\tLinux operating systems<\/p>\n
Knowledge and Skills:<\/p>\n
\tProblem solving

\n\tTime management skills
\n\tAbility to work independently<\/p>\n
