\tWe are looking for a Logistics and Supply Chain Manager.
\n\tThis is relative high-level job and carries quite some serious responsibility here at PABT.<\/p>\n
Job Description<\/p>\n
Reporting to Head of Operations and Head of Engineering.<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for following departments, each department has a hierarchy with different levels of employees, eg manager, supervisors and staff.
\n\tStores and warehousing department – Two large warehouses with a stockholding of R200 mil + with 20 000 active part numbers.
\n\tLogistics department – a fleet of 10 trucks with drivers, forklifts and other material handling equipment.
\n\tProcurement department \u2013 Divided in local procurement and international procurement. We spend a significant amount of international procurement; this person must be up to speed with regulations and processes and be able to manage large in international shipping companies.
\n\tManaging the complete supply chain \u2013 from Sales order, to procurement, stores, delivery and then invoicing.
\n\tForecasting and maintaining stock levels in a complex supply and demand environment.<\/p>\n

\tStock level accuracy
\n\tDelivery time (From Sales Order to Invoicing). This pertains to the following steps:
\n\tProcurement evaluating Sales order for Shortages and the sourcing shortages
\n\tStores picking parts to build product and supply as spares.
\n\tCommunication between stores, procurement and production on ETA for shortages (note \u2013 we source local and international)
\n\tDelivery and invoicing of product
\n\tProcurement spend and maintaining gross profit margins<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tExpert knowledge of Syspro
\n\tExpert in Excell
\n\tHigh level knowledge of imports and exports processes and regulations
\n\tExpert knowledge in supply chain for a manufacturing company
\n\tProven track record of managing large teams
\n\tMust be a self starter, able to take on challenges with minimal intervention of top management<\/p>\n
Additional Requirement:<\/p>\n
\tThis candidate must have a proven track record in which he\/she has successfully implemented solutions in complex problematic supply chains.
\n\tThis candidate to have proven track record of creating and implementing solutions to problematic and defective processes in warehouses which resulted in stock issues.<\/p>\n
