Role Overview<\/p>\n
\tThe\u00a0WMS Lead\u00a0plays a pivotal role in driving the implementation, optimisation, and ongoing support of Core Group\u2019s Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). This position shapes the future of warehouse management by aligning technology initiatives with organisational goals to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
System Implementation and Stabilisation<\/p>\n
\tEnsure comprehensive Go-Live readiness for all WMS implementations.
\n\tDevelop and update warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
\n\tConduct system and process training for warehouse teams.
\n\tIdentify and resolve stabilisation issues proactively.
\n\tAlign implementation goals with business objectives and conduct post-implementation reviews.
\n\tFacilitate cross-departmental communication and integration.<\/p>\n
System Optimisation and Continuous Improvement<\/p>\n
\tIdentify opportunities to streamline warehouse processes and improve productivity.
\n\tManage configuration changes and integrations between systems.
\n\tProvide clear communication and training on all system updates.
\n\tImplement a framework for ongoing performance and process improvement.
\n\tCollaborate with external consultants and apply industry best practices.<\/p>\n
Training and Change Management<\/p>\n
\tDevelop comprehensive training programs for warehouse processes and WMS usage.
\n\tMaintain and update training materials regularly.
\n\tEnsure effective onboarding and ongoing learning for all relevant staff.
\n\tPromote a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous development.<\/p>\n
System Support and Maintenance<\/p>\n
\tDefine and implement a robust WMS support structure.
\n\tMonitor SLAs and manage vendor escalations.
\n\tLead proactive maintenance and establish a disaster recovery plan.
\n\tManage system budgets in collaboration with finance teams.<\/p>\n
Documentation and Governance<\/p>\n
\tMaintain detailed system configuration and SOP documentation.
\n\tCollaborate with IT teams to ensure version control and update accuracy.
\n\tDevelop and maintain a centralised knowledge base for all WMS operations.<\/p>\n
Cross-Functional Collaboration<\/p>\n
\tWork with IT, operations, and business units to align WMS initiatives with organizational goals.
\n\tLead cross-functional task forces to identify and implement process enhancements.
\n\tFoster collaboration and integration across teams.<\/p>\n
Reporting and Data Management<\/p>\n
\tEnsure accuracy of master data and key operational reports.
\n\tCollaborate with BI teams to develop custom reports and dashboards.
\n\tImplement data governance policies and improve data visualization for actionable insights.<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tRelevant tertiary qualification.
\n\t5\u20137 years\u2019 experience in warehouse operations and WMS environments (preferably Manhattan SCALE).
\n\tProven experience in WMS and ERP system integration.
\n\tStrong understanding of full lifecycle implementations for medium to large-scale projects.
\n\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n\tStrong ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments.
\n\tKnowledge of emerging technologies in warehouse and logistics management.<\/p>\n
