\tCoca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in our department. We are looking for a \u00a0talented individual with relevant skills and experience for an Team Leader Production (ASSP Line) role, which is based in Pretoria.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nKey Outcomes<\/p>\n
Shift Production Management<\/p>\n
\tEnsure production schedule adherence, meeting volume and quality targets.
\n\tCoordinate and monitor all line operations, intervening when deviations occur.
\n\tEnsure effective start-up, operation, and shutdown of the production line.
\n\tManage raw materials and consumption<\/p>\n
Team Performance and Development<\/p>\n
\tLead, supervise, coach, and develop direct reports to meet performance expectations.
\n\tConduct shift handovers, toolbox talks, and regular performance feedback.
\n\tIdentify training needs and work with the Technical Trainer to address skills gaps.<\/p>\n
Quality and Compliance<\/p>\n
\tEnforce adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety standards.
\n\tEnsure compliance with Coca-Cola Beverages Africa Quality Systems and ISO standards.
\n\tParticipate in internal and external audits and implement corrective actions.<\/p>\n
Operational Excellence & CI<\/p>\n
\tUse data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
\n\tDrive and support continuous improvement initiatives using lean tools.
\n\tContribute to line performance reviews, OEE improvement, and waste reduction.<\/p>\n
Safety and Housekeeping<\/p>\n
\tEnforce safety policies and practices; lead risk assessments and incident investigations.
\n\tEnsure clean, organized, and hazard-free working environments aligned with 5S principles.<\/p>\n
Administrative and Reporting Tasks<\/p>\n
\tMaintain accurate shift logs, downtime reports, production data.
\n\tReport deviations in raw materials, equipment, or product quality in a timely manner.
\n\tMonitor and control usage of materials and packaging to minimize losses.<\/p>\n
Cross-Functional Collaboration<\/p>\n
\tWork closely with Maintenance, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n

Skills, Experience & Education\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nEducation<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma or NQF Level 6 in Production\/Operations Management, Mechanical\/Electrical Engineering, Food Technology, or related field.
\n\tDegree (Advantageous): BTech\/BSc in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\tQualified Artisan
\n\tMinimum 3 years in a high-volume FMCG manufacturing or bottling environment.
\n\tExperience with automated production lines, high-speed packaging, and production systems.
\n\tKnowledge of GMP, HACCP and Food Safety Standards
\n\tKnowledge of Coca-Cola KORE processes and procedures<\/p>\n
Skills<\/p>\n
\tWorking knowledge of manufacturing processes (bottling, filling, labelling)
\n\tKnowledge of ISO, HACCP, SHEQ, and Food Safety systems
\n\tSound understanding of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement tools.
\n\tStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities (root cause, DMAIC, etc.)
\n\tProficiency in manufacturing\/production ERP systems
\n\tAbility to interpret and use production data, quality reports, and OEE dashboards
\n\tCompetence in coaching, conflict resolution, and performance management
\n\tIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production reporting tools
\n\tMust-Have Technical Expertise<\/p>\n
Hands-on experience with KHS Plasmax Technology, including:<\/p>\n
\tKHS InnoPet Plasmax 12D
\n\tKHS Corpoplast \u2013 FreshSafePET
