\tA vacancy exists for a Quality Manager reporting to the Hospital Manager. The successful candidate will form part of the multidisciplinary team ensuring that all our patients receive comprehensive quality nursing care.<\/p>\n
Critical Outputs<\/p>\n
\tRisk Management assessment of all relevant clinical procedures and implementation of controls.
\n\tQuality management and infection control.
\n\tCompiling and management of quality processes in the hospital.
\n\tManaging, reporting, investigation and close out of all quality and environmental incidents and deviations to standards in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team.
\n\tMeasuring performance against the quality objectives, evaluating the results and co-ordinate corrective action where necessary, together with the multidisciplinary team.
\n\tConducting risk assessments on an annual basis, together with multidisciplinary team, in accordance with legal requirements
\n\tMonitoring and review of hazard\/risk management quarterly, together with multidisciplinary team.
\n\tMonitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of actions taken to mitigate\/control risk, together with the multidisciplinary team.
\n\tMaintaining and updating of risk register.
\n\tCoordinating the hospital Health & Safety Committee meetings.
\n\tEnsuring that all legal appointments are made, staff trained in the requirements of such appointments and legal requirements are adhered to.
\n\tGuiding the Hospital Manager on health and safety related issues to ensure that the legal requirements are adhered to for staff safety.
\n\tCoordination of employee injuries and occupational disease reporting – internally and externally..<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tRegistered with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse.
\n\tAdvantageous – Diploma in Healthcare Management, Risk management and infection control
\n\tKnowledge and skill in quality assurance, improvement of quality, infection control, health and safety, training and development, risk management and administration
\n\tAt least 3 years\u2019 experience in private healthcare.
\n\tComputer proficiency.<\/p>\n
