Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tThe Senior Finance Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of finance transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization\u2019s strategy and future-fit operating model. This role will be central to driving process optimization, digital enablement, and change management within the Finance function, enabling the team to be more efficient, agile, and business-focused.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Project & Program Management<\/p>\n
\tLead the end-to-end management of finance transformation projects (planning, execution, monitoring, closure).
\n\tDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and progress reports.
\n\tCoordinate cross-functional teams (finance, IT, risk, operations) to ensure seamless project delivery.
\n\tMonitor project budgets, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues where necessary.
\n\tEnsure compliance with finance policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.<\/p>\n
Finance Transformation Delivery<\/p>\n
\tDrive initiatives to simplify, standardize, and automate finance processes.
\n\tSupport the adoption of new systems and tools (e.g., ERP upgrades, automation, data analytics).
\n\tPartner with Finance leadership to identify pain points and design future-state processes.
\n\tFacilitate knowledge transfer and ensure business continuity during transformation.<\/p>\n
Change Management<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and implement change management strategies to support finance transformation.
\n\tCommunicate the vision, goals, and progress of transformation initiatives to stakeholders at all levels.
\n\tEngage employees through workshops, training, and feedback sessions to build capability and adoption.
\n\tAct as a change champion, promoting new ways of working and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
\n\tDrive adoption of new finance processes and systems across the organization.<\/p>\n
User Acceptance Testing :<\/p>\n
\tLead financial testing strategies to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial transactions across platforms.
\n\tManage exceptions and coordinate approvals with business units and technology teams.<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Management<\/p>\n
\tServe as a trusted advisor to Finance leadership and key business partners.
\n\tManage stakeholder expectations, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
\n\tCommunicate project progress and risks to senior stakeholders.
\n\tBuild strong relationships with IT, HR, and external vendors to ensure project success.
\n\tFacilitate workshops and meetings to align transformation goals with business needs<\/p>\n
Required Knowledge and Experience\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nExperience<\/p>\n
\t10+ years\u2019 experience in finance transformation, project management, or business process improvement roles.
\n\tDemonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects in financial services\/insurance.
\n\tProven track record in delivering system implementations (ERP, automation, BI tools) and process change initiatives.<\/p>\n
Knowledge and Skills<\/p>\n
\tStrong project management expertise (methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2, or PMP certification advantageous).
\n\tSolid understanding of finance processes and operating models (insurance\/financial services experience preferred).
\n\tExcellent change management skills (Prosci\/ADKAR certification desirable).
\n\tAbility to translate complex finance and technical concepts into business-friendly language.
\n\tStrong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
\n\tExcellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
\n\tAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.<\/p>\n
Educational Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
\n\tProfessional finance qualifications (CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred but not mandatory.<\/p>\n
