Purpose of Job<\/p>\n
\tSupport process engineering strategy to reach production targets, providing process engineering technical support and identifying improvement opportunities.
\n\tContribute unit-specific technical input for the PAU Division into daily assurance process.
\n\tOWAP monitoring and deviation prevention on unit level and assurance that unit is optimally operated within agreed operation envelopes.
\n\tContribute technical input into compilation of studies\/ improvement initiatives and identifying and preventing risks of deviation
\n\tData accumulation and processing for input for improvement plans on a unit operations level.
\n\tDeliver technical track and process related inputs required on studies, conceptual proposals and similar projects (tier 4\/5) in accordance with sound established engineering principles and standards to satisfy business requirements.
\n\tProvide input into driving and supporting Process Safety management studies, initiatives and defined compliance plans.
\n\tShutdown inspections and support with regards to process equipment integrity.
\n\tShutdown involvement and support on catalyst and chemicals loading, unloading and conditioning.
\n\tResponsible for defining and managing process safety information.
\n\tDevelopment and implementation of Catalyst and Chemicals strategies<\/p>\n
Key Accountabilities
\nBusiness results<\/p>\n
\tGive unit specific information into the development and maintenance of the plant OWAP.
\n\tMonitor and identify corrective and preventative steps to ensure plants operate within the OWAP.
\n\tIdentify losses on unit and compile gap closure plans as input into the improvement plans.
\n\tMonitor unit operation to ensure sustainable and predictable production to protect volume (provide accurate process data for the production planning and scheduling processes) and manage process and integrity related threats.
\n\tMonitor and interpret performance on technical drivers, constraints and levers on catalyst and equipment levels.
\n\tTest-run and mass balance verification exercise on a routine weekly basis.<\/p>\n

\tProvide process engineering support and input for small projects such as:
\n\tProcess design (conceptual and basic engineering)

Formal Education<\/p>\n
\tMinimum Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Chemical Engineering
\n\tMust have successfully completed the 3 year Graduate Development Program
\n\tMust have Platformer, Alkylation and Diesel Hydrotreating technology knowledge and experience
\n\t5 to 8 years\u2019 experience preferably in a Petrochemical Engineering environment or a Master\u2019s degree and 5 years\u2019 experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n
