Job Overview<\/p>\n
\tPump and Abrasion Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Technical Copywriter to join our Engineering team. This role is critical in ensuring that our technical documentation is clear, accurate, and user-friendly. The successful candidate will be responsible for rewriting and creating new pump assembly and maintenance manuals, developing manuals for special lifting equipment and tools, and compiling technical documents for clients and internal use.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tRewrite and update existing pump assembly and maintenance manuals.
\n\tCreate new manuals for special lifting equipment, tools, and procedures.
\n\tCompile and format technical documentation for clients, including datasheets, specifications, and installation guides.
\n\tCollaborate with engineers and technical staff to gather accurate information.
\n\tEnsure all documentation complies with company standards and industry regulations.
\n\tTranslate complex engineering concepts into clear, concise, and accessible language.
\n\tMaintain version control and document management systems.
\n\tAssist in the development of training materials and internal technical communications.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Education & Experience:<\/p>\n
\tDiploma or degree in Engineering, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field.
\n\tMinimum 2 years of experience in technical writing or engineering documentation.
\n\tExperience in the mining, manufacturing, or industrial equipment sectors is advantageous.<\/p>\n
Skills:<\/p>\n
\tExcellent written communication skills in English.
\n\tStrong understanding of engineering concepts and technical terminology.
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document formatting tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel).
\n\tAbility to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
\n\tAttention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
\n\tAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.<\/p>\n
