\tConduct line maintenance inspections;
\n\tConduct routine inspections on various avionic systems on the aircraft;
\n\tConduct fault finding and rectify based on the fault;
\n\tPerform A-checks including weekly service checks;
\n\tPerform thorough daily inspections of the aircraft to identify any potential issues or defects;
\n\tConduct necessary maintenance tasks to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft;
\n\tAdhere to established maintenance procedures and safety standards;
\n\tAll activities must be properly recorded and signed off as per FlySafair\/ SACAA requirements ensuring that all the required legal aspects are complied with;
\n\tHealth and Safety requirements must always be complied with to ensure Personal and other Personnel Safety, Fire and Accident\/Incident preventions;
\n\tEnsure that the work area, equipment, and tooling are properly maintained and safe prior to starting any job to prevent accidents or incidents to aircraft and staff;
\n\tApply analytical thinking and troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes and implement effective solutions;
\n\tCommunicate clearly and professionally to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of maintenance tasks.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 or Equivalent (Essential);
\n\tMechanical Trade test Certificate (Essential);
\n\tMinimum of 2 years aviation maintenance experience (Essential);
\n\tPrevious experience working as an Aviation Technician on B737\/- 800 mechanical systems (Advantageous);
\n\tPrevious experience working as an Aviation Technician on B737-8 (MAX) mechanical systems (Advantageous);
\n\tPrevious Line Maintenance experience (Advantageous);
\n\tWillingness to work shifts, weekends and on public holidays;
\n\tMust be available and willing to travel at short notice, both locally and internationally;
\n\tValid South-African passport holder;
\n\tSound understanding of technical aircraft publications and documentation;
\n\tProficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook, PowerPoint).\u00a0<\/p>\n
