\tAn opportunity has arisen for a Finance Officer III (Accounts Officer) to handle all general administration and financial duties such as bookkeeping, problem solving and maintaining filing system.
\n\tThis role typically involves advanced financial responsibilities, decision making, and leadership in the finance department. Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 with a relevant tertiary qualification
\n\tValid Driver’s License
\n\tAdvance Excel skills
\n\tPrevious Finance Officer III experience
\n\tPrevious experience in full creditors \/ debtors function is essential (Min 2 years)
\n\tComputer Literate
\n\tStrong administration skills
\n\tProblem solving abilities
\n\tSelf Motivated
\n\tAttention to Detail
\n\tAnalytical \/ Problem solving ability
\n\tAbility to work independently
\n\tGood admin and organizational skills
\n\tGood communication between Management, Staff & Client.
\n\tKnowledge of Sage (X3)
\n\tAbility to work under pressure
\n\tDeadline orientated
\n\tAbility to liaise with management, customers and suppliers<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
Debtors and Sales<\/p>\n
\tRevenue computation: \u00a0Checking of PODs and trip information, reconcile against delivery schedules, etc
\n\tRaise Debtors invoices after it is agreed with client
\n\tFollow up on for payment\u00a0
\n\tAttend to queries
\n\tRevenue Recons between GL and Uniplan<\/p>\n
Wages<\/p>\n
\tCapture information from timesheets into Wage Capture Files
\n\tCompile monthly accruals to provide for cost
\n\tCompile schedule for the payroll department to pay staff
\n\tCompile a payroll recovery schedule from client
\n\tMaintain Staff Files and Leave records<\/p>\n
Fuel Stock and Sheet 9<\/p>\n
\tMaintain Fuel Stock including \u2013 Issues and Stock Purchases
\n\tReconcile all Fuel purchases and compile Sheet 9
\n\tSubmit all Fuel drawn by the customer
\n\tAgree and Invoice Fuel to the Customer<\/p>\n
Creditors and Purchase Orders<\/p>\n
\tObtain quotes, approve and issue PO\u2019s after the PR\u2019s are approved
\n\tEnsure that invoices are VAT compliant
\n\tApprove and Process Invoices for payment
\n\tMaintain Open Orders and Open GRN\u2019s<\/p>\n
Journals<\/p>\n
\tCompile Journals and capture on Sage X3
\n\tAfter reconciliations, Compile Journal for all cost and Revenue accruals : Wages\/Fuel\/Tyres\/Revenue\/FML\/Reallocations
\n\tFiling and data capturing and general office duties.
\n\tMaintain Vehicle Maintenance Files<\/p>\n
