JOB TITLE:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking a Life Cycle Service\u00a0Mill Relining Supervisor\u00a0to join our LCS team. You will be responsible for providing Metso\u2019s customers with professional technical support of its products. This position will coordinate and work closely with the Service Business Line Technical Support Teams to assure a common understanding\/application of technical support and information to support and provide excellent customer service on Metso Mill relining spare parts.
\n\tIn this position, you will report to the LCS\u00a0Mill Relining Contract Manager.
\n\tThis position is mainly located in\u00a0Rustenburg, North West.<\/p>\n
WHAT YOU WILL DO<\/p>\n
\tSupervising a team of re-liners and planning, organizing and controlling the process
\n\tEnsure all planning work is communicated to the Team Leaders
\n\tUse part list to pick all parts prior to work commence and ensure that Stock counts done
\n\tVerify and arrange transport of all parts and components, quantities on site before work commence
\n\tResponsible for feedback and corrective action with regards to incorrect or non-conforming parts supplied from
\n\tInform Product Support on any required mill liner changes
\n\tDevelop Safe Work Procedures for all critical tasks and ensure all personnel are fully conversant with the applicable procedures
\n\tEnsure that all required Identifications, risk assessment and analysis of Hazardous products are adhered to
\n\tEnsure that all required Safety and Security requirements at the respective mines are adhered to. Safety file responsibility + audits and Legal appointments Metso + MHSA
\n\tEnsure that teams report to customers on arrival and before departure to discuss and ensure service reports are signed off (daily)
\n\tEnsure that teams adhere strictly to the respective mines lockout and environmental procedures (daily)
\n\tEnsure that all Legal books are submitted monthly, and all signatures are in place. Hand in of documents and report to Safety Officer, Plant Engineer
\n\tTo ensure that mills are cleared for production in accordance with requirements (daily)
\n\tTo ensure that good housekeeping practices are maintained in accordance with requirements and daily inspection of tools & vehicles + PPE are done and report or replace damage equipment
\n\tTo ensure that reporting and data-recording requirements are met & reports send to the customers after installations
\n\tTeam meetings to be held and minutes must be kept (weekly) \u2013 Report all problems arising immediately to Metso Manager
\n\tEnsure that Stock take and site preparation is in place prior and after any installation (daily)
\n\tEnsure that parts-use list is hand in after a re-line is complete and hand in to capture usage from Team Leader\u2019s reports
\n\tEnsure that Team Leaders Completing and signing off daily time sheets and reports (daily)
\n\tEnsure that all service reports are handed in daily to Metso Admin offices
\n\tEnsure that all Team Leaders reports sick\/absent employee
\n\tResponsible for Metso vehicle (maintenance & inspections) as per Metso standards
\n\tResponsible for the planning, coordinating and successful execution of mill lining activities
\n\tEnsure that Mill Relining team leaders and teams are always presentable and properly equipped to perform work on any customer\u2019s premises
\n\tReport any call outs that happens after hours or weekends
\n\tHand in all Dragger downloads weekly when and if required
\n\tReview inspection results and communicate findings to Metso Manager
\n\tResponsible for all disciplinary actions required in the team
\n\tEnsure mill profiles are taken and send to customers with reports & planning of all jobs
\n\tEnsure that Mill Relining team leaders and teams are always presentable and properly equipped to perform work on any customer\u2019s premises
\n\tReview inspection results and communicate findings to Metso Manager
\n\tEnsure 2D and 3D mill profiles scanning are taken and send to customers with reports & planning of all jobs
\n\tEnsure pin gauges mill profiles are taken and send to customers with reports & planning of all jobs
\n\tEnsure all liner spare part are plan and is communicated to the Relining Manager<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tGrade 10
\n\tAt least 7 years\u2019 experience in a similar industry
\n\tPrevious Supervisory Experience.
\n\tRelining installation certificate
\n\t7 years Mill relining experience (Steel, Poly-Met and Rubber)
\n\tValid Passport
\n\tWilling to travel
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license (C1) and PDP (Essential)
\n\tComputer literacy Word, excel, PowerPoint
\n\tAbility to work in a team atmosphere
\n\tKnowledge of ISO 9001 \u2013 2008
\n\tPast defensive driver training (Essential)
\n\tKnowledge of Mine Health and Safety Act<\/p>\n
