\n\tValid Blasting Certificate for Metalliferous Mines
\n\tMine Overseer Certificate of Competence for Metalliferous Mines
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft products, with an emphasis on Excel
\n\tProficient in English and any of 11 official languages
\n\tInterpersonal communication and outstanding technical skills
\n\tSouth African Citizenship

\u00a0Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tEnsure the safe and timely movement\/transportation of people, material, explosives, and equipment to and from collection and delivery points on the shaft.
\n\tEnsure adherence to the scheduled delivery of material, explosives, and equipment
\n\tEnsure material, explosives, and equipment are delivered to the correct areas
\n\tEffectively control material delivery and issuing.
\n\tEnsure compliance of material and equipment with legal requirements and company standards.
\n\tSupport the achievement of all scheduled maintenance plans.
\n\tLiaise with the maintenance planner to obtain a schedule for equipment maintenance
\n\tEnsure that identified deficiencies are scheduled and executed.
\n\tCoordinate equipment and material utilisation.
\n\tMonitor production variances against daily targets.
\n\tMonitor usage of equipment and material to ensure minimum wastage.
\n\tEffectively manage production systems and processes to achieve operational targets and prevent equipment breakdowns.
\n\tOversee the process of moving waste from underground to surface holding areas.
\n\tEnsure completion of necessary documentation as per ISO and procedural standards.
\n\tEnsure proper record-keeping of all documentation related to waste movement for audit purposes.
\n\tEliminate risks of incidents and accidents.
\n\tConduct accident and incident investigations.
\n\tReporting and feedback daily
\n\tConduct all work according to required standards and specifications
