Our client, a leading multinational in the mining and natural resources sector, is seeking an Internal Audit Specialist to join their established team in Johannesburg. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact by strengthening internal controls, supporting risk management, and enhancing governance across a complex global organisation.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tPlan, execute, and deliver end-to-end audit projects across multiple business units.
\n\tIdentify risks, assess controls, and recommend actionable improvements.
\n\tPrepare clear, concise audit reports and present findings to stakeholders.
\n\tParticipate in technical updates, knowledge sharing, and quality assurance activities.
\n\tContribute to audit papers and reports for senior management and governance forums.<\/p>\n
Key Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tCA (SA) or Certified Internal Auditor
\n\t5+ years\u2019 internal audit experience
\n\tStrong technical knowledge of audit standards, risk frameworks, and control methodologies.
\n\tSkilled in audit planning, execution, reporting, and data analysis tools.
\n\tExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across levels.<\/p>\n
