Role Overview<\/p>\n
\tThe\u00a0Senior Network Engineer\u00a0is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Core Group\u2019s network infrastructure. This role ensures optimal performance, security, and scalability across all sites while maintaining compliance with best practices.
\n\tYou\u2019ll lead complex network projects, collaborate across departments, and provide technical leadership in Cisco, Fortinet, and Microsoft environments.<\/p>\n
\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tDesign and deploy secure, scalable, and reliable network solutions.
\n\tImplement and manage firewalls, intrusion prevention, and access control systems (Fortinet).
\n\tOversee daily network operations, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
\n\tManage network infrastructure across multiple sites and ensure consistent standards.
\n\tLead and deliver network projects on time and within budget.
\n\tMaintain accurate network documentation and performance reports.
\n\tMentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
\n\tEnsure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
\n\tSupport internal teams and communicate solutions clearly to non-technical users.<\/p>\n
\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bQualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tRelevant tertiary qualification in IT or related field.
\n\t5\u20137 years\u2019 experience in enterprise network engineering.
\n\tHands-on experience with\u00a0Cisco,\u00a0Fortinet, and\u00a0Microsoft Azure\u00a0technologies.
\n\tProven success in full lifecycle network implementations and integrations.
\n\tExcellent problem-solving and communication skills.<\/p>\n
Certifications:<\/p>\n
\tCisco:\u00a0Minimum CCNA\u00a0(CCNP\/CCIE advantageous)
\n\tFortinet:\u00a0NSE 4 or higher
\n\tMicrosoft:\u00a0Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)
\n\tAdvantage: IP Telephony (Euphoria, Microsoft Teams)<\/p>\n
