Purpose of Role<\/p>\n
\tThis role supports Senior Accountable Site Person (MD) and site leadership (Execs) in day-to-day implementation of Diageo\u2019s Occupational, Health & Safety policy, programs and site priorities.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Top Accountabilities<\/p>\n
\tAssist in the formulation and drive delivery of the OH&S KPIs that will drive a continuous improvement culture within DSA demand towards delivery of Safety Excellence and a Zero Harm culture. Work with site resources to develop and deliver programmes that aid compliance for DSA against legislation and Diageo Standards
\n\t\u00a0Setting targets to drive improvements with regard to the areas above across DSA demand and reporting same to Governance Manager and the DSA Health & Safety Steering Group.
\n\tTrack performance and provide insights into drivers of performance on a monthly basis
\n\tTaking a lead role in driving the required culture, including employee education and engagement.
\n\tImplement LTO Emergency Response system
\n\tProvide support to the Local Crises Team
\n\tProvide Induction and refresher training, Process Training and co-ordinate mandatory training requirements for staff, visitors and contractors. Deliver fit for purpose risk training to all employee groups across ISC
\n\tAudit facilities and systems according to LTO Audit Guidelines
\n\tMaintain all Safety\/Security related schedules and Action Plans
\n\tInspections
\n\tRisk Assessments
\n\tMaintain Minutes and follow up actions of Safety Committees Support Incident Investigation including root cause analyses and implementation of preventative measures,
\n\tMaintain Incident and CIRC (prevention & Compliance System) Registers
\n\tMaintenance, compilation and trending of relevant documentation.
\n\tMonthly reports \/KPI\u2019s
\n\tSupport HR with Mandatory COID (Workman\u2019s Compensation)processes
\n\tEnsure the Occ Health requirements are implemented .Medical Screening etc
\n\tSupport Facility Manager with all Physical Facility Requirements<\/p>\n
Experience \/ skills required: <\/p>\n
\tPrevious experience shall include administration, implementation and maintenance of a SHE System.
\n\tDiploma or Degree \u00a0in Health & Safety and Environment Management
\n\tSHEMTRAC (Old SAMTRAC)
\n\tInternal Auditing
\n\tFire and First Aid Training
\n\tStrong Functional\/Technical Knowledge in the areas of Occupational Health, Safety and environmental Legislation and standards\u00a0
\n\tProven ability in the implementation, maintenance and administration of management systems which will minimize SHE Risks
\n\tSkilled in the normal business software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other PC Based systems
\n\tEffective incident investigation\u00a0 & problem solving skills
\n\tEnergetic & driven to perform at the highest capabilities
\n\tGood communicator \u2013 able to communicate with all levels of staff, standards and legislative organizations.
\n\tDemonstrates assertiveness to maintain high standards, capable of challenging others and comfortable with being challenged.
