{"id":22015,"date":"2025-10-21T10:02:12","date_gmt":"2025-10-21T10:02:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/customer-service-officer-2\/"},"modified":"2025-10-29T00:24:32","modified_gmt":"2025-10-29T00:24:32","slug":"customer-service-officer-2","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=22015","title":{"rendered":"Customer Service Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>About the role<\/p>\n<p>\tThe incumbent is accountable to provide one point of contact for Customers, Sales Teams and other involved parties on the order capture and management process.<br \/>\n\tThey will manage various tasks relating to the processing and delivery of orders to its customers by communicating with Customers, Finance Teams, Sales Teams, Supply Chain Teams, and third-party Logistics Service Provider(s).<br \/>\n\tThis role focuses primarily on the items mentioned above, however, includes various other items as required.<br \/>\n\tManage relevant Supply Chain and business required compliance, audit, and related activities.<br \/>\n\tVarious Supply Chain Reports and Reporting.<br \/>\n\tProvide excellent Customer Service to internal and external customers, to deliver on business objectives.<\/p>\n<p>Key responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>\tCapturing of orders onto the Haleon CERPS system, using and validating information provided by the customer.<br \/>\n\tThe accurate and timely execution of all order-related tasks e.g., obtaining purchase order numbers, release of credit holds amongst others to ensure the correct allocation of the maximum amount of stock on every order.<br \/>\n\tManage automated orders as per your customer portfolio<br \/>\n\tTo identify customer needs and expectations, deliver service requests, ensuring the customer receives an effective service by being efficient.<br \/>\n\tAdherence to all relevant legislative and internal controls on this process and the correction retention of documentation related to orders.<br \/>\n\tManaging Supply Chain Compliance Requirements, including the performance of any required testing, reporting as required.<br \/>\n\tCommunication to relevant parties on order information as required. This may be proactive or reactive in nature, depending on the circumstances. The fulfillment of all processes, rules and requirements on customer communication as determined by the Supply Chain function.<br \/>\n\tBusiness reporting (daily, weekly, or monthly).<br \/>\n\tSupport for other Customer Service Team roles as required (i.e acting as relief when other team members are off work).<br \/>\n\tAny other task as defined by the Line Manager.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications and skills<\/p>\n<p>Required<\/p>\n<p>\tMatric \/ Senior Certificate \u2013 required. NQF level 4.<br \/>\n\tProven understanding of business environment and ability to solve problems and Supply Chain issues with Finance teams, warehouse colleagues and customers.<br \/>\n\tAt least 5 years\u2019 experience in Customer Service or relevant Supply Chain role, or other Customer Contact Roles.<\/p>\n<p>Preferred<\/p>\n<p>\tTertiary or Customer Service\/Logistics\/Supply Chain Qualification (NQF level 6 minimum) would be an advantage.<\/p>\n<p>Other Skills\/Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>\tSAP R\/3 in the Order to Cash function \u2013 in particular, experience in handling customer orders in SAP.<br \/>\n\tProactive self-starter who works well in a team environment, with minimal supervision.<br \/>\n\tAbility to manage multiple business priorities simultaneously.<br \/>\n\tExcellent communication skills.<br \/>\n\tAnalytical and problem-solving skills.<br \/>\n\tPC Literacy, Microsoft Office Skills, specifically Excel, at an intermediate level at least.<br \/>\n\tExperience in Supply Chain operations in an FMCG environment<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>gsknch.wd3.myworkdayjobs.com<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/gsknch.wd3.myworkdayjobs.com","_company_name":"Haleon","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"We are a world-leading company 100% focussed on everyday health.
