\tThe Junior Point of Sale Administrator\u00a0 is responsible for supporting the setup, maintenance, and administration of Point of Sale systems across international locations.
\n\tThis role ensures accurate menu updates, system configurations, and troubleshooting while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to maintain smooth POS operations.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
POS System Administration<\/p>\n
\tAssist with POS configuration and setup for new international stores.
\n\tUpdate menu items, pricing, and promotions as per regional requirements.
\n\tEnsure accurate linking of MIs and recipes to minimize inventory variances.
\n\tSupport the implementation of order types, tax settings, and tender setups per country-specific requirements.<\/p>\n
Data Entry & Maintenance<\/p>\n
\tAccurately input and verify product and menu data within the POS system.
\n\tMaintain POS master data records across all international regions.
\n\tAssist in bulk data uploads and validations for system-wide updates.<\/p>\n
Issue Logging & Troubleshooting<\/p>\n
\tLog and track POS-related queries from international stores and escalate as needed.
\n\tInvestigate and resolve basic POS errors (e.g., missing menu items, incorrect pricing, tender issues).
\n\tWork with vendors (e.g., Micros, Yumbi, Uber & Mr D) to resolve technical issues affecting POS functionality.<\/p>\n
Regional Support & Coordination<\/p>\n
\tCommunicate menu changes and system updates to store managers and relevant stakeholders.
\n\tSupport international store openings by ensuring accurate system configurations.
\n\tCoordinate with vendors to activate, test, and maintain POS integrations.<\/p>\n
Reporting & System Monitoring<\/p>\n
\tMonitor POS system performance and report issues proactively.
\n\tGenerate basic sales, stock variance, and transaction reports for international stores.<\/p>\n

\tAssist with data extraction and validation for internal audits and operational reviews.
\n\tAccurate POS System Configuration: Ensure that all menu, pricing, and settings are correctly applied per region.
\n\tTimely Issue Resolution: Address POS-related queries promptly to minimize disruptions.
\n\tData Accuracy & Compliance: Ensure POS data integrity aligns with business and regional compliance standards.
\n\tSystem Availability & Reliability: Support POS uptime and performance monitoring across locations.<\/p>\n
Required Skills and Competencies<\/p>\n
Technical & POS Expertise<\/p>\n
\tBasic understanding of POS systems (Micros, or similar).
\n\tFamiliarity with menu management, tax settings, and tender configurations.
\n\tExposure to POS integrations with aggregators (e.g., UberEATS, Mr D, Yumbi).<\/p>\n
Administrative & Analytical Skills<\/p>\n
\tStrong attention to detail for accurate data entry and validation.
\n\tAbility to generate and interpret basic POS reports.
\n\tProactive approach to identifying discrepancies and resolving issues.<\/p>\n
Communication & Coordination<\/p>\n
\tAbility to engage with store teams, vendors, and IT teams.
\n\tStrong written and verbal communication for reporting and troubleshooting.
\n\tAbility to multi-task across multiple store locations and requests.<\/p>\n
