Purpose of the Role<\/p>\n
\tPrepares complex and routine reconciliations of foreign and local Creditor Accounts using system tools and accounting applications to compare payments, invoices, and outstanding balances; investigates anomalies and queries relating to payments, responds to the outcomes, and attends to the updating of creditors’ records.<\/p>\n
Roles & Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tChecks the correctness of the receipting of creditors’ invoices on the system and information contained in transactional documents, ie invoices, delivery notes, etc
\n\tPrepares complex and routine reconciliations of Creditors’ Accounts
\n\tChecks and verifies the information relating to the supplier, invoice numbers, and payments.
\n\tConducting the required level of investigation into the status of payments and referring queries to the Assistant Creditors Supervisor.
\n\tAttending to the posting or forwarding of Remittance Notices through e-mail to the Supplier.
\n\tPrepares creditor’s records for auditing by organising instructions, correspondence, and reconciliations relating to the various accounts.
\n\tResponding to audit questions and queries relating to the transactional entries recorded on the system.
\n\tMaking available specific information or instructions in relation to the audit query.
\n\tAddress Creditor\u2019s related queries
\n\tMaintains records and provides general office support.<\/p>\n
Qualifications, Competencies & Experience<\/p>\n
\tMatric certification
\n\t2 years of clerical experience in a computerised accounting environment.
\n\tComputer literacy and Microsoft Office experience is required.
\n\tSystems knowledge and experience is essential.
\n\tSAP knowledge would be an advantage.
\n\tMust be accurate, efficient, and have good communication skills.
\n\tBe able to work independently and under pressure
\n\tWork with a large team in an open office space.<\/p>\n
