Brief description<\/p>\n
\tThe main purpose of this position is to financial administration support to the Inventory section within the South African Reserve Bank (SARB).<\/p>\n
Detailed description<\/p>\n
\tThe successful candidate will be responsible for, among other tasks, the following key performance areas:
\n\tEngage in short term planning and perform tasks against work plans as defined in conjunction with team leader.
\n\tAssist with financial\/budgetary challenges, diagnose problems, choose and\/or modify routines to deal with them, displaying the ability to provide solutions for problems within a defined context.
\n\tCoordinate, compile and manage Hospitality Services budget.
\n\tAdminister the approved budget in terms of controlling expenditure and report variances to Management support.
\n\tMonitor orders to ensure that expenditure is within the approved budget and in accordance with the Bank\u2019s procurement procedures.
\n\tPerform general accounting duties and reconciliations in accordance with accounting and SARB policies, relevant accounting standards and acts.
\n\tComplete monthly profit and loss statement.
\n\tPerform general administration, including preparation of payment instructions, data capturing and record keeping ensuring the smooth running of the inventory management.
\n\tKeep abreast with information relating to factors that affect food inflation.
\n\tFollow up on payment of suppliers\/vendors according to the Bank\u2019s processes.
\n\tCollate and provide relevant management information for decision-making purposes to ensure complete and relevant information for Hospitality Services.
\n\tEnsure compliance with procurement policy, budget guidelines and other relevant policies.
\n\tEngage with stakeholders (internal and external), displaying the ability to solicit information as well as deliver a coherent and convincing message.<\/p>\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:<\/p>\n
\tA National Diploma (NQF 6) in Financial accounting OR equivalent ; and
\n\tThree to fFve years\u2019 experience in budget and financial support.<\/p>\n
