Main Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Operational Strategy<\/p>\n
\tDevelop, implement and maintain a project management structure & strategy, standards and procedures to execute on the implementations of allocated projects
\n\tStrategy and standards to be aligned with the G4S technology strategy
\n\tCreate and maintain a project management and service delivery strategy with short, medium- and long-term objectives \u2013 measure and report on these project plans and objectives on an ongoing basis
\n\tEnsure and assist with technical support for all commissioning and support teams
\n\tDemonstrate G4S\u2019 capabilities to deliver integrated security solutions
\n\tIdentifying new business opportunities which lead to the development of solutions
\n\tDesign, cost and present additional technology solutions and manage the successful project implementation
\n\tOversight of all allocated project implementations and ensuring the success thereof<\/p>\n
Service Excellence<\/p>\n
\tEstablish trusted long-term relationships with customers
\n\tFacilitate the delivery of service as per the project plan and SLA requirements
\n\tCreate strong and trusted relationships with all G4S stakeholders
\n\tSignificantly influence customer satisfaction with G4S through knowledge of the industry ability to articulate solutions, value and service delivery
\n\tContinually review and improve gross margin profitability and operational capability within the projects
\n\tEnsure secure, safe, efficient and customer- oriented handling of technology solutions in support of customer service
\n\tAdherence to local, national and international legislation and procedures<\/p>\n
Financial<\/p>\n
\tManage relationship between actual results, budgets and forecasts
\n\tGross Margin Management and Contract profitability
\n\tEnsure no contractual penalties are incurred to negatively impact on project viability<\/p>\n
People<\/p>\n
\tEnsure an effective project organisation is designed, maintained and developed
\n\tAttend leadership training for Management and Supervision
\n\tManage relationships with G4S technicians and subcontracted resources
\n\tAdequate channels of communication with related support staff are in place
\n\tCompliance is maintained with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA) regulations
\n\tLeave planning is carried out to ensure project deliverables are met<\/p>\n
Operational Excellence<\/p>\n
\tImplementation & Ownership of allocated projects and other Integrated Solutions across all areas of the business
\n\tProviding detailed and timeous reporting on Operations to Customers and to the national project manager Coordinate customer service operations and find ways to ensure customer retention
\n\tEnsure compliance with local and international laws (e.g. data protection)
\n\tManage contracts and relations with customers, vendors, partners and other stakeholders
\n\tEnsure Contract Profitability through Technology innovation
\n\tResults of Project Implementations and other reviews are monitored
\n\tQuality Management \/ Ops Process Management \u2013 adherence to quality standards
\n\tMinuted monthly operational performance review sessions with all project stakeholders
\n\tMonthly reviews with key suppliers and subcontractors
\n\tSubmit to vetting procedures on an ongoing basis<\/p>\n
Technology Innovation<\/p>\n
\tInnovation and Advancement of Integrated Solutions required for projects
\n\tSourcing and Testing new Technologies
\n\tIntegration of new Technologies into G4S technology solutions
\n\tDesigning bespoke solutions for Customers<\/p>\n
Learning & Growth<\/p>\n
\tUpdate job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks & participating in professional project management organisations
\n\tNetwork and actively participate in User Groups & Associations and Trade Shows
\n\tCompletion of all online training modules such as but not limited to Integrated Solution Generalist, Risk Assessment Modules, G4S Ways of Selling etc
\n\tEnsure product certification is maintained by technicians & subcontractors<\/p>\n
Health and Safety<\/p>\n
\tParticipate in the design\/ development\/ review\/ implementation and monitoring of the departmental safety plans for each year
\n\tParticipate in safety forums created by the company for example safety meetings and safety talks
\n\tReport all safety incidents to the relevant people
\n\tDiscuss all safety incidents
\n\tFollow-up on any activities assigned through safety meeting\/committee\/representative\/management
\n\tAttend safety education and refresher programs
\n\tComply with safety policies and procedures at the workplace
\n\tDistribute safety information as and when required<\/p>\n
Qualification and Experience<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12
\n\tDriver’s Licence & Own reliable vehicle
\n\tRole requires flexible and extended hours (including travelling may be required)
\n\tProject Management Diploma or relevant tertiary qualification, ideally within the project management & Technology space
\n\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience implementing and project managing Integrated Solutions
\n\tMinimum 3 years people management experience
\n\tExtensive understanding of electronic security products, system integration and implementation<\/p>\n
