Purpose of Role<\/p>\n
\tOwn, develop and drive the relationships and commercial agenda with customers \u2013 this is a customer facing role first and foremost

Role Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDevelop truly world class collaborative customer partnerships and strategies
\n\tManagement of profit and NSV targets \u2013 \u201cowning the numbers\u201d
\n\tMotivate sales teams behind clear, simple and powerful customer strategies.
\n\tDevelop and orchestrate end-to-end relationships via a cross functional network within Diageo and the customer base
\n\tDrive the highest standards of execution for all specified channels.
\n\tObtain and apply facts and data, driving excellence in planning, decision making and performance measurement and taking corrective action as required.
\n\tContribute to shopper and category insight, resulting in powerful and breakthrough category strategies
\n\tDevelop and co-ordinate tailored brand activity by channel and major customer.
\n\tNielsen interpretation and development of corrective action plans.
\n\tDevelop accurate forecasting through demand planning resource
\n\tMonitoring, evaluating and advising on Brand\/Customer volume, trends and dynamics.
\n\tCreate and develop world class account plans
\n\tImplement and develop appropriate KPI\u2019s<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tUniversity degree.
\n\tHigh cognitive ability<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\t6\u201310 years\u2019 experience gained across commercial and other functions \u2013 cross functional experience an advantage.\u00a0
\n\tExposure across different channels and different levels of customer sophistication (e.g. National Accounts, Key Accounts and Field Sales)
\n\tTrack record of success in highly demanding sales organizations’ (FMCG) and in alcoholic beverages
\n\tShoprite Group experience is a plus
\n\tStrong knowledge & demonstrated delivery in challenging trading environments; understanding of channel, pricing, negotiations and strategy development
\n\tExposure resolving numerous conflict-filled situations
\n\tNegotiation and conflict resolution with powerful customers<\/p>\n
