In this Junior IT position Technician<\/p>\n
\tProvide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
\n\tTroubleshoot hardware and software issues, escalating when necessary.
\n\tInstall, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications.
\n\tAssist with network connectivity issues (LAN\/WAN\/Wi-Fi).
\n\tSupport onboarding\/offboarding processes (e.g., account setup, device provisioning).
\n\tPerform routine maintenance and updates on systems.
\n\tSupport Agent for ticketing system by logging, tracking, and resolving incidents and requests
\n\tProviding support to users and being the sole point of contact for error resolving and reporting.
\n\tDocument support activities and resolutions in the ticketing system.
\n\tMonitoring of network systems \u2013 specifically but not limited to Cisco routers and switches
\n\tEstablishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
\n\tMaintain IT Hardware Inventory and update asset registers.
\n\tAssist with annual IT asset count and reconciliation.
\n\tCollaborate with country senior technicians and IT Infrastructure managers on IT infrastructure projects.
\n\tCollaborate with regional and global IT teams on IT Issues.
\n\tEstablishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
\n\tExternal Customers
\n\tService Providers
\n\tEngage with External Service Providers when required, For Example: Network Service Providers, Printing Providers, etc\u2026<\/p>\n
Process<\/p>\n
\tTo ensure that IT processes and company policy is adhered to.
\n\tResolve and analyse issues in day-to-day delivery and implement practices, processes and protocols for IT infrastructure and system focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency
\n\tTo ensure that IT systems are kept up to date
\n\tTo ensure that agreed upon asset counts are done and asset management system is updated timely
\n\tTo administer procurement requests timeously<\/p>\n
Teamwork<\/p>\n
\tProvide backup and support to Senior Specialist Professional IT & Systems Administration
\n\tImplement IT infrastructure and systems plans and processes to ensure maximum provision of an efficient system\/ network
\n\tContribute to influence a team spirit of effectiveness in the team<\/p>\n

\tGood understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentals
\n\tGood troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
\n\tCustomer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving

\n\tA proven record of identifying problems and resolving them
\n\tPresentation skills and information sharing at all levels<\/p>\n
