A vacancy exists for a Control Room Operator stationed based at the Rustenburg Branch. The position will report to the Senior Manager. \u00a0The main purpose of the position is to ensure Surveillance operations and report on it.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 or equivalent qualification.
\n\tPSIRA Grade C accredited and registered.
\n\tHave at least 3-5 years Control Room environment experience actively working as an Operator.
\n\tFully computer literate (Outlook, Excel, Word, What\u2019s App) and understand when being taught how to use other software programs.
\n\tGood administrative skills.
\n\tSecurity Experience \u2013 Observe, act and report.
\n\tExcellent Observation and reporting skills.
\n\tExcellent English written and verbal communication skills.
\n\tExceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
\n\tKnowledge and experience with Electronic Occurrence Book (EOB).
\n\tPrevious Monitoring Centre or Control Room experience advantageous.
\n\tContactable references.
\n\tNo criminal record.
\n\tOwn reliable transport.
\n\tRustenburg (Preference will be given to candidates residing in Rustenburg and surrounding areas).<\/p>\n
Main Duties & Responsibilities (not totally inclusive):<\/p>\n
\tEstablish and sustain effective risk management practices.
\n\tDevelop and maintain an efficient information network to support investigations of prioritised crime threats.
\n\tIdentify, assess, and mitigate crime-enabling factors within the operational environment.
\n\tEnsure accurate and timeous incident reporting and communication.
\n\tSupport operational coordination and maintain situational awareness within the JOC environment.<\/p>\n
