\tSpoor & Fisher is looking for a Trade Mark Secretary within the TM: Anti-Counterfeiting Team. The successful candidate will be based in the Centurion office, reporting to the Partner. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail and should be able to attend to general trade mark secretarial duties with a focus on litigation.<\/p>\n

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills<\/p>\n
\tMatric
\n\tA paralegal diploma will be advantageous
\n\tProficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
\n\tExperience in using the COURT ONLINE system
\n\tGood command of the English language
\n\tA keen attention to detail and accuracy
\n\tAbility to work independently as well as within a team
\n\tA sense of urgency and the ability to work under pressure
\n\tTaking initiative and being pro-active
\n\tAbility to work on multiple matters simultaneously<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tDrafting correspondence e.g. affidavits, letters and litigious documents;
\n\tMaintaining the Section 15 portfolio and records database;
\n\tInteracting and liaising with various 3rd parties;
\n\tDiary and deadline management;
\n\tProcessing invoices and managing monthly billing;
\n\tUpdating internal accounts systems;
\n\tAttending to various other routine and ad hoc secretarial\/administrative duties.<\/p>\n
