Purpose of the Position<\/p>\n
\tTo deliver the events strategy and operational plan based on brand priorities. The Regional Events Specialist is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events and promotions that showcase and promote the company’s products, drive brand awareness, generate sales, and build customer loyalty.<\/p>\n
KEY RESULT AREAS<\/p>\n
\tDeliver an events plan for brands that meets brand objectives.
\n\tPlan, organize, and execute brand building experiences that drive brand awareness and loyalty amongst target consumer and drive a return on investment.
\n\tWork closely with the marketing team to develop and execute event and promotional strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
\n\tResearch, identify and negotiate contracts & agreements with potential event locations, vendors, and partners.
\n\tManage event budgets and ensure that events are executed in a cost-effective manner.
\n\tCoordinate event logistics, including staffing, equipment, and supplies.
\n\tEnsure that all events and promotions comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
\n\tEvaluate the effectiveness of events and promotions and make recommendations for the improvement thereof.
\n\tManage Event evaluation and pre\/post Event evaluation analysis.
\n\tSocial systems developed to ensure strong stakeholder collaboration.
\n\tDevelop and Champion social meeting and reporting routines driving collaboration and common understanding with the sales teams.
\n\tCommunicate protocols and operating procedures to all stakeholders to ensure policy adherence (Corporate Governance)
\n\tDevelop continuous Improvements\/Best Operating Practices on Eventing.
\n\tFormulate and communicate relevant and meaningful insights for the brand and channel teams.
\n\tContinuously benchmark eventing practices against best in class and competitors.<\/p>\n
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tDiploma\/Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, marketing, event planning, or a related field.<\/p>\n
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES<\/p>\n
\tA minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning and promotion.
\n\tRelevant experience within the Alcoholic Beverage or broader FMCG industry with clear eventing and consumer demand creation experience is preferable.
\n\tStrong knowledge of the alcoholic beverages industry and the associated regulations.
\n\tProven track record of successfully planning and executing events and promotions.
\n\tExcellent project management skills.
\n\tStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n\tAbility to plan, organize, and execute events and promotions.
