\tThe successful candidate will undergo in-house training on a 12-month contract for our silo visit programs, internal audit, processes and procedures, and systems. The goal is to prepare the candidate for appointment as a Regional Compliance Officer when an opening becomes available.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tCompleted SAICA Articles or a portion of the required SAICA Articles (SAIPA Articles can also be considered)
\n\tBCom Accounting degree or currently studying towards a BCom Accounting degree (late 2nd year to 3rd year of studies)
\n\tBCom Financial Management can also be considered
\n\tNo prior work experience required<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas<\/p>\n
Financial Management:<\/p>\n
\tManage Non-SAP and Sundry stock bi-weekly counts
\n\tOversee the Biometrics platform for accurate overtime and leave reporting
\n\tCompile and analyse site budgets and costs
\n\tReconcile cash control and resolve outstanding items
\n\tReview vehicle fleet and related issues
\n\tEnsure accurate capturing of credit notes
\n\tPrepare inter-site allocations and follow up on exception reports<\/p>\n
Risk Management and Compliance:<\/p>\n
\tIdentify and report administration and financial risks
\n\tEnsure adherence to company policies and procedures
\n\tConduct internal site audits and follow up on findings
\n\tAssist sites in resolving audit findings and implementing preventative measures
\n\tPrepare regions for internal audits and review audit programs<\/p>\n
Management Reporting and Ad Hoc Tasks:<\/p>\n
\tCompile reports and information as requested by management
\n\tComplete ad hoc tasks as needed<\/p>\n
Technical Competencies<\/p>\n
\tNumerical and analytical acumen
\n\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills
\n\tProficiency in MS Office, especially advanced Excel skills
\n\tExperience with SAP or similar ERP Finance systems<\/p>\n
