Key Purpose<\/p>\n
\tSuccessful candidates will work closely with our passionate Snr Developers and System Architects to develop and impart technical training with primary focus on Java technologies. The level of training will range from introductory to advanced. It will include learners from Graduate up to Snr Developers. In parallel to the training activities there will always be at least one technology research topic that will enable organizational technology innovation.
\n\tWe require strong trainers who understand and can apply the fundamentals of SOA and microservice architectures, demonstrable understanding of OO principles and methodologies.
\n\tApplicants must be team players with the ability to work with both vertical and horizontal colleagues in formal and informal settings.<\/p>\n
Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to<\/p>\n
\tDevelop training materials and prepare for sessions
\n\tDeliver lectures, seminars, practical demonstrations and fieldwork
\n\tDefine and mark assignments
\n\tCheck and assess work
\n\tAct as a personal tutor to a number of learners
\n\tSupervise learners research
\n\tTaking part in organizational training and continuous professional development
\n\tCarry out administrative tasks such as learners curriculum, schedule, etc\u2026
\n\tRead academic and technology leaders journals
\n\tWrite research proposals, papers and other publications
\n\tAttend and contribute to professional conferences and seminars
\n\tLearn continuously on the edge new technologies
\n\tLead the design and development of one (at a time) complex software engineering project
\n\tCollaborate with senior technical professionals in building new technologies modules
\n\tProvide training reports to Discovery management
\n\tParticipate in at least one technical project as a technical lead<\/p>\n

Education<\/p>\n
\tComputer Science Master\u2019s Degree (Doctor\u2019s degree advantageous)
\n\tAdditional Certification \/ Degree for Instructional design or related qualification<\/p>\n
Programming or Training \u00a0Experience with<\/p>\n
\tPart or full time lecturing \/ instructing experience for at least 5 years ( 5+ years Java systems development experience advantageous)
\n\tTechnologies knowledge: Java version 11 to 21, Spring\/Spring Boot 3, Spring AI, Hibernate\/JPA experience, Oracle and PL\/SQL knowledge (or similar SQL knowledge), Atlassian product stack, GitLab and related technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Nexus, Harbor, HashiCorp), Monitoring (monitoring (Dynatrace, Prometheus))
\n\tFormal modelling languages (UML, ArchiMate etc.) , modelling tools (Enterprise Architect),
\n\tMethodologies: Agile including Continuous Integration and Test Driven Development
\n\tAdvantageous: programming AND training experience<\/p>\n
