Description<\/p>\n
\tThe purpose of this position is to diagnose and maintain machinery and equipment according to technical specification and sound engineering practise.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tInvestigate, diagnose and perform trade related maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery according to the maintenance requirements, standards and specifications
\n\tPerform daily inspections in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act regulations, operational and company standards to report all defects and breakdowns on equipment and machinery to the Supervisor
\n\tDevelop, modify, construct and install all types of trade related equipment required for the safe operation of all engineering equipment
\n\tEnsure that all installations and equipment are safe and in good working order after task completion
\n\tContinuously monitor equipment failure and efficiency to improve trade specific equipment and systems
\n\tConsult with production teams on maintenance activities that effects production
\n\tSupports the achievement of engineering availability and production performance levels
\n\tEnsure that maintenance related information is recorded and reported to the relevant planning office to support the maintenance of the planned\/asset maintenance system<\/p>\n
Qualification Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12) or an equivalent qualification registered at NQF Level 4, including relevant NATED qualifications such as the N3 Certificate.
\n\tValid section 13 Trade test \/ Section 26(D) certificate required
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license code B, EB or C1
\n\tOwn transport to attend to call outs<\/p>\n
Experience and Skills Requirement<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 2-3 years\u2019 experience as a qualified artisan in a mineral processing plant
\n\tValid MV MQA Certification
\n\tVSD and Soft Starter experience
\n\tDP and Pro-V Simocode experience
\n\tEnglish Language Proficiency
\n\tTime management skills<\/p>\n
