OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB<\/p>\n
\tTo provide technical application support to all users within the SACAA and to various applications, enhancements of\u00a0applications and analysis of application requirements and carry out system testing and upgrades<\/p>\n
SOFTWARE ANALYSES & TESTING<\/p>\n
\tInvestigate and analyse existing system and recommend improvements.
\n\tEnsure that software applications are tested.
\n\tEnsure that application is testing done prior moving to production.
\n\tParticipate in business requirements gathering sessions.<\/p>\n
SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT & CONFIGURATION<\/p>\n
\tImplement application improvements on existing systems within the organisation.
\n\tConduct configuration of systems to ensure that the clients\u2019 needs are met.
\n\tEradicate tedious workflows and duplication on existing applications or systems.
\n\tDevelop data flows.
\n\tParticipate in automation of business processes.
\n\tDevelop business reports and templates.<\/p>\n
SOFTWARE UPGRADES<\/p>\n
\tManage and monitor software upgrades.
\n\tTest and implement new software releases.
\n\tConduct end user training as and when required.<\/p>\n
SYSTEM ENHANCEMENTS<\/p>\n
\tEnhance existing systems as per user requests.
\n\tConduct system performance improvements.<\/p>\n
SYSTEM MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT<\/p>\n
\tProvide efficient system maintenance and support.
\n\tAnalyse and provide solutions for recurring production issues.
\n\tRespond to systems issues, end-user queries and maintenance requests within ICT service level agreement.
\n\tExtract data and reports as and when requested.<\/p>\n
SYSTEMS INTEGRATION<\/p>\n
\tAssist with Integration of various systems in the organisation.
\n\tParticipate in system integration testing.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualification:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma in IT or relevant NQF Level 6 qualification<\/p>\n
Ideal Qualification:<\/p>\n
\tIT Degree and Java programming certificate<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\t3 Years IT Technician or Application Maintenance & Support<\/p>\n
