Your mission:<\/p>\n
\tThe Technical Sales Specialist is responsible for providing high-level technical sales expertise to the local sales teams, customers and channel partners. Understands the customer requirements to align and put them in scope with Epson\u2019s product portfolio to provide solutions meeting and exceeding customer needs. Feeding back the market needs\/trends to the business for future product development cycle.\u00a0<\/p>\n
What you will do:<\/p>\n
\tEngage and build relationships with customers, channel partners and their technical representatives early in the sales cycle and throughout the sales process to understand their business needs and solution objectives.
\n\tDevelop an understanding of customer requirements and formulate a product\/system proposal based on the company\u2019s sales strategy and product potential. Delivering more value to the customers at better margins through optimally defined solutions.
\n\tManage the technical discussion \/ negotiation process with the customer and any linked external service provider. \u00a0
\n\tWork with Central BU to execute strategy and feedback market information for future product planning,\u00a0
\n\tRFI\/RFP\/Tender contribution\/input\u00a0
\n\tManage customization and integration projects as required \u00a0
\n\tManage Beta tests prior to launch with selected customers and resellers\u00a0
\n\tProvide 2nd line troubleshooting to customers and channel partners.
\n\tProvide an in-depth understanding of new products, software and drivers for the purpose of supporting customers\u00a0
\n\tProvide Technical Support expertise and demonstrate equipment at sales exhibitions and events.\u00a0
\n\tSupport local sales team, customers and channel partners with product information and updates in line with launch and product life cycle\u00a0
\n\tManage the demo inventory for demo\/seeding; support demos and exhibitions.<\/p>\n
What we ask for:<\/p>\n
\tComputer Science graduate\/Technical Support Engineer background
\n\tTechnical product\/market experience gained in a similar industry\u00a0
\n\tNumerate, analytical and logical approach to problem solving
\n\tUse of innovative approach to optimize reports and analysis
\n\tUnderstanding of Project Management processes
\n\tFluent in written and spoken English
\n\tExcellent ability to communicate on technical and commercial level (verbal & written)
\n\tAbility to work in a matrix structure\u00a0<\/p>\n
Technical Skills:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tComputer literate with knowledge of MS-Windows, Networking, MS-Office, 3rd Party driver\/software
\n\tGood knowledge of Operating Systems (including mobile)
\n\tSoftware & Hardware testing
\n\tTroubleshooting & Diagnostics
\n\tExhibition\/Event setup & support
\n\tColour management knowledge
\n\tColour matching knowledge incl. Profiling
\n\tUnderstanding of finishing requirements
\n\tKnowledge of RIP software<\/p>\n
