Position Summary:<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Technical Facilities Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of our building systems and infrastructure. This role combines leadership responsibilities with deep technical expertise, ensuring that all critical systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire safety, etc.) are functioning efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulations. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Operations & Maintenance<\/p>\n
\tOversee daily operations of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and life safety systems
\n\tSchedule and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance
\n\tEnsure all critical equipment operates within recommended parameters<\/p>\n
Technical Oversight<\/p>\n
\tLead troubleshooting and diagnostics for technical building issues
\n\tCoordinate inspections, testing, and repairs for compliance with standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, OSHA)
\n\tMonitor Building Management Systems (BMS) or Building Automation Systems (BAS) for optimal performance.<\/p>\n
Project Management<\/p>\n
\tPlan and oversee facilities-related capital improvement projects and equipment upgrades.
\n\tCollaborate with engineering, IT, and construction teams during build-outs or renovations.
\n\tManage contractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgets.<\/p>\n
Compliance & Safety<\/p>\n
\tEnsure facilities meet all legal and regulatory safety and environmental standards.
\n\tConduct risk assessments and audits; maintain documentation for inspections, permits, and certifications.
\n\tLead response to facilities-related emergencies (e.g., power outages, equipment failures).<\/p>\n
Team Management<\/p>\n
\tSupervise a team of technicians, engineers, and custodial staff (if applicable).
\n\tProvide technical training and mentorship.
\n\tCoordinate shift schedules and monitor performance.<\/p>\n
Budgeting & Reporting<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and manage the facilities maintenance budget.
\n\tTrack energy usage, utilities, and maintenance KPIs.
\n\tPrepare reports on facility operations, maintenance logs, and system performance.<\/p>\n
Education:<\/p>\n
\tDiploma in Facilities Management with 5 years experience in Office and Manufacturing
\n\tRelevant certifications (e.g., CFM, PMP, LEED, FMP) are a plus.<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 5\u20137 years of experience in facilities or technical operations management.
\n\tHands-on knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices.<\/p>\n
Technical Skills:<\/p>\n
\tProficiency in Building Management Systems (BMS\/BAS), CMMS software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
\n\tStrong understanding of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
\n\tFamiliarity with energy management and sustainability initiatives.<\/p>\n
Soft Skills:<\/p>\n
\tStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
\n\tAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
\n\tProblem-solving mindset with a focus on operational excellence.<\/p>\n
