Principal Accountabilities:<\/p>\n
\tWorking with various operational teams, providing in-depth technical expertise.
\n\tDirects teams of technical staff in the successful fulfilment of Enterprise System service delivery commitments.
\n\tCoaches junior staff according to their PC&D planning.
\n\tOversees the detailed execution of enterprise technology standards, governance processes and performance metrics to ensure IT delivers value to the enterprise.
\n\tManages risk evaluation and compliance management processes.
\n\tDrives on-premises and cloud infrastructure planning, engineering, deployment, and migration.
\n\tDrives the formulation of IT policies, procedures, and performance management processes and measures.
\n\tValidate remedial actions and ensure compliance with information security policy and regulatory requirements.
\n\tWork with the Product Management Office as a Subject Matter Expert for Enterprise Systems and assist in discussions with Lines of Service.<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tAny of these will be advantageous
\n\tB.Sc or related I.T degree
\n\tITIL
\n\tNutanix
\n\tVxBlock
\n\tAzure
\n\tExperience:
\n\t8 years post qualification, hands-on experience in IT operational environment, with a minimum of 2 years in leadership role<\/p>\n
Skill Required:<\/p>\n
\tHas led teams across multiple functions in the delivery of technology services
\n\tExperienced vendor engagement, both from a new business and a managed service point of view
\n\tExperience in managing infrastructure and operations
\n\tStrong leadership capability, executing as appropriate in the areas of responsibility
\n\tExtensive knowledge of infrastructure planning and operations, design, and deployment, as well as system life cycle management
\n\tExpert knowledge of current and emerging technologies, technology directions and strategic application to business needs
\n\tBasic knowledge of business operations and processes
\n\tProject management skills, including the ability to effectively deploy resources and manage projects within the scope of Enterprise Systems
\n\tAbility to improve operational efficiency and service delivery effectiveness across all lines of business and technology platforms
\n\tExcellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others<\/p>\n
