\tDis-Chem Pharmacies requires an established Nail Technician for their Salon in The Glen. You will be responsible for building your very own clientele base and creating awareness of the various nail treatments that Dis-Chem has to offer.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
Essential:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 \/ Matric or Senior Certificate\u00a0
\n\tNail Technician Certificate (gel and acrylic)
\n\tAt least 2 years\u2019 technical experience in a professional beauty\/nail salon environment
\n\tWilling and able to work retail hours<\/p>\n
Job Description:<\/p>\n
\tReport on customer compliments and complaints
\n\tConduct monthly promotions
\n\tEnsure monthly treatment and product targets are met
\n\tAttend training to keep abreast of new products and treatment techniques
\n\tEnsure new customers complete customer cards
\n\tComplete and submit accurate monthly reports
\n\tAdhere to Dis-Chem\u2019s treatment and service payment procedures
\n\tManage stock levels according to Dis-Chem procedures \u2013 report on short, damaged and expired stock
\n\tEnsure effective and accurate merchandising or promotions
\n\tProvide customers with a high standard of nail care and nail painting techniques<\/p>\n
Competencies:<\/p>\n
Essential:<\/p>\n
\tPossess general knowledge of nail technology (correct product application techniques) and nail contra-indications for nail treatments
\n\tStrong command of the English language
\n\tBe a team player, have good customer relations
\n\tTrustworthy and honest
\n\tBe deadline and target driven \u2013 daily treatment planning and administration and meet monthly treatment targets<\/p>\n

Special conditions of employment:<\/p>\n
\tWilling and able to work retail hours
\n\tFit and able to perform proper manicures and pedicures
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license and own reliable transport, or reside in close proximity to the store
