Skills and qualifications<\/p>\n
\tCollege diploma or university degree in computer science, information science, management information systems, accounting or business administration, and 5 years of related work experience.
\n\tProven experience in overseeing the design, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
\n\tExtensive experience with core software applications, including NAV & BC.
\n\tStrong understanding of the organization\u2019s goals and objectives.
\n\tUnderstanding of basic Accounting principles
\n\tAnalytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
\n\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n\tStrong listening and interpersonal skills.
\n\tAbility to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.
\n\tAbility to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
\n\tHighly self-motivated and directed.
\n\tKeen attention to detail.
\n\tAbility to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
\n\tStrong customer service orientation.
\n\tExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tAssist in the planning, design of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
\n\tMeet with decision makers, system owners, and end users to define business requirements and system goals, and identify and resolve business system issues.
\n\tEnsure compatibility and interoperability of in-house and 3rd party computing systems.
\n\tReview and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
\n\tAssist in the deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
\n\tConduct research on hardware and software products to support purchasing decisions and justify recommendations.
\n\tCreate system models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers.
\n\tCoordinate and conduct in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.
\n\tProvide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
\n\tOngoing system support to business
\n\tHandling of financial reconciliations and enquiries
\n\tRoot cause analysis and reporting<\/p>\n
