Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tLead by example mentoring reconciliation clerks.
\n\tCollect and analyse data to detect weaknesses or non-compliance.
\n\tPerform research and development as required.
\n\tAssist in compiling a continuous audit plan for reconciliation clerks.
\n\tPrepare test procedures for continuous auditing program.
\n\tDetermine compliance with policies and procedures.
\n\tFlow chart the above procedures.
\n\tTravel extensively.
\n\tContinuously looking to improve efficiency and effectiveness through ongoing learning and new techniques.
\n\tOrganize and follow up of stock take with Warehouse Supervisor\u00a0and assist with investigating variances.
\n\tDetermine scope and approach of audit in conjunction with the Audit Manager.
\n\tFollow up on audit findings to ensure adequacy and timeliness of corrections.
\n\tSupervise Reconciliation Clerks during the execution of audits and review of daily audits.
\n\tPrepare appraisal forms for the Audit Manager.
\n\tEstablish risk-based audit programs.
\n\tShare relevant data with management teams to enable reliable business decision making.
\n\tPerform consulting activities and ad hoc assignments as they arise.
\n\tEnsure deadline is met for relevant tasks.
\n\tAssist clerks with training.
\n\tReport findings of material value.
\n\tEnsure department policies are being followed by team members.\u00a0
\n\tReviewing Value added recons weekly and identifying errors\u00a0
\n\tReviewing paperwork and missing ticket samples and Masterfile\u00a0
\n\tPreparation of the weekly Masterfile and ensuring weekly distribution to relevant departmental managers.
\n\tPerforming Petty cash recon on monthly basis
\n\tSummitting daily reports to the group retail accountant regarding shortfalls and high-risk areas.\u00a0
\n\tEnsuring all month end reconciliations are being correctly performed and sent through timeously to finance.
\n\tPerform Cash counts when requested
\n\tCompleting Business requirements documents for our Development team\u00a0
\n\tAssist with any new development projects
\n\tSummitting daily\/ Weekly timesheets\u00a0
\n\tPerform ad hoc assignments as they arise<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tValid driver\u2019s licence
\n\t1-2 administrative experience advantageous
\n\t4 years practical internal auditing experience advantageous\u00a0
\n\tPastel Evolution Knowledge advantageous\u00a0<\/p>\n
