ROLE SUMMARY:<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking a passionate and dynamic Mathematics Teacher to join Reddford House The Hills. The successful candidate will inspire a love for Mathematics, delivering engaging lessons that challenge students to think critically and achieve their full potential.\u00a0<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tPlan, prepare and present engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons.\u00a0
\n\tEstablish a nurturing learning environment that promotes curiosity and academic excellence.\u00a0
\n\tDemonstrate professionalism in punctuality, preparation, classroom behaviour, and feedback.\u00a0
\n\tEvaluate, reflect on, and refine teaching practice, incorporating feedback where appropriate.\u00a0
\n\tProvide extra lessons or support sessions when required.\u00a0
\n\tProduce resources of a high standard for student use.\u00a0
\n\tMaintain timely communication with parents, responding within 24 hours where possible.\u00a0
\n\tAssess student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.\u00a0
\n\tComplete administrative tasks including setting exams, marking, and writing report comments.\u00a0
\n\tUphold school expectations and attend key occasions as directed.\u00a0<\/p>\n
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:<\/p>\n
\tSACE registration (essential) and recognised teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed\/PGCE).\u00a0
\n\tUniversity degree in Mathematics (or closely related field).\u00a0
\n\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 recent experience within the College\/High School phase.\u00a0
\n\tProven experience teaching Mathematics (Mathematical Literacy a plus; IEB experience advantageous).\u00a0
\n\tAble to set clear expectations and stretching goals; excellent behaviour routines.\u00a0
\n\tAdaptable, feedback-responsive pedagogy with strong differentiation.\u00a0
\n\tDepth of subject knowledge and ability to judge learning effectiveness.\u00a0
\n\tExcellent preparation and planning; disciplined with assessment timelines.\u00a0
\n\tAssessment-led practice with feedback that lifts attainment.\u00a0
\n\tGenuine care for student wellbeing and success; appropriate right to work in SA<\/p>\n
